Punta Mita overlooks the Marietas Islands which is just a 15-20 minute boat ride away. Here is where you can swim in a “natural pool” and watch out for the Blue-footed Booby birds.

Explore underwater life even further through whale watching, diving, and snorkelling at the coral reefs.

Try zip-lining, paddle boarding, surfing, fishing, golf and more to work up your appetite for some delicious Mexican delights!

Sufi Restaurant at Punta Mita
Sufi Restaurant

Within the gates of Punta Mita, our favourites are Sufi, Sea Breeze, and Carolina at the St.Regis, an Aramara and Ketsi at the Four Seasons. The restaurant at the Punta Mita Residents Beach Club also does delicious seafood dishes and traditional cocktails – a fabulous spot for lunch.

Just outside the gates of Punta Mita, a short ride on your golf cart is Punta Mita Village. The Village is small and quaint with some fabulous oceanfront restaurants and some small shops. Many of the residents are fishermen who provide fresh catches each day to the restaurants. Our favourites are Tuna Blanca (dessert will blow you away! Trust us! Don’t leave here without ordering the special dessert tray!), The Blue Shrimp, Rosa (Be sure to order the churros!) and Si Senor.

Our concierge would be delighted to help you arrange bookings at any of these restaurants, or we can also arrange for you a private chef.

Sayulita

You will fall in love with the magical seaside surfer town of Sayulita. The streets are decorated with colourful flags and garlands, and you will find stores filled with one-of-a-kind pieces like handwoven coasters, hand-painted skull dolls and hand-carved pottery. Sayulita is full of vibrant locals and chic Mexican art shops, markets and boutiques. You could spend hours here marvelling at the local artisans making beautiful things on each corner. It is just a 20-minute drive from Punta Mita and worthwhile visiting to indulge in some colourful Mexican culture.

Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta is perfect for touristic activities and city life. It’s much busier and larger than Punta Mita and Sayulita, so it takes a little longer to explore; so why not stay in one of our luxurious Mexican villas in the town? We have many beautiful fully staffed homes in Puerto Vallarta from which to choose.

Our top tip for Puerto Vallarta is to go off the beaten track through the beautiful cobbled streets, quaint boutiques and some of Mexicos best traditional restaurants.

Be sure to check out The Iguana Restaurant. Its steeped in historical celebrity gossip! The villa was Elizabeth Taylor’s home while filming “Night of the Iguana” and comes complete with a bridge to a villa across the street where Richard Burton was staying. And so, the tumultuous love affair began!
