The White Cottage Villa, located within a gated estate, sits amidst mature grounds of lush vegetation. This private property, with a glass-walled living room, opens out onto a sweeping terrace bordering the pool, offering unparalleled views across your private beach to the Caribbean and the distant horizons.

Each of the five bedrooms has beautiful views. The Master Suite on the ground floor, with its dedicated en-suite with freestanding shower and bathtub, is a spacious, beautifully appointed sea view room. Also, on the ground floor, ensuring equal ease of access, another attractive king room shares its bathroom with a beautiful bunk room that sleeps 3—an ideal space for young adults or children. On the first floor, the remaining two queen bedrooms are located. These beautifully decorated rooms have garden views and a shared hallway bathroom.

The kitchen, with its pristine white-fronted cabinets, has up-to-date cooking facilities, an espresso machine, dishwasher, ice maker, washer dryer, a cooler, and all useful gadgets to allow you to prepare delicious meals. The casual breakfast counter in the kitchen and the full dining table and chairs in the adjacent living room/dining room offer restful air-conditioned spaces to dine.

With its plush modern seating, the living room is a restful space to unwind, listen to some music, or watch TV. The villa provides TV in all bedrooms and has a widescreen TV on the terrace with its dedicated seating area under the shaded veranda.

The swimming pool, occupying the central space between your large terrace and private beach, is equipped with lots of sun loungers, beach towels, umbrellas, a hammock, and comfortable seating. A tranquil space to relax within easy access of the villa while also keeping an eye on any younger guests who might be splashing in the sea or enjoying a game of ping pong nearby.

Immediately in front of your villa, the powder white sandy beach provides a safe and calm sea that is a constant pleasure to explore. During each phase of your stay, you can experience the calm beauty of dawn when the gentle breezes ruffle the lovely thatch palms that provide shade and privacy to your villa. At lunchtime, you can take a quick swim before enjoying some delicious local delicacies prepared in your kitchen or BBQ, followed by a languorous snooze in your hammock. The early evening is the ideal time to take a gentle stroll along the water’s edge, returning to your candlelit terrace for a pre-dinner refreshment.

The entire property is white. Hence its name. With a playful eye for creating a tasteful concept, the owners have included some dazzling colours – pinks, blues, ochres – in soft furnishings, lamps, abstract artworks, or feature walls throughout the villa. These flashes of colour that comprise any vibrant Caribbean palette enhance the serenity and beauty of the property. It is no surprise that white is a colour long associated with calm and peace. The moment you walk into the property, you will feel unburdened entirely of any stresses that might have joined you on your voyage to this corner of paradise.

At only 3km to the nearest grocery store, restaurants, water sport hire companies and island excursions, you will enjoy being near enough to civilisation without any of its intrusions stepping into your dream.

LOCATION:
Grand Cayman is one of the better destinations to visit in the Caribbean. With a long tradition of visitors travelling to this 35km long / 13km expansive British Overseas Territory, this sophisticated Island can offer the urban bustle of George Town, with beautiful restaurants, designer duty-free shopping around Cardinal Avenue at Gucci, Versace, Tiffany or visit the National Museum housed in a 19th Century building on Harbour Drive. For outdoor pursuits, visit 7-Mile Beach, a long crescent of coral-sand beach recently receiving the honour of being voted “The Caribbean’s Best Beach”. Swim with friendly Southern Stingrays and snorkel and scuba dive around the easily accessed reefs. Further inland is the National Trust’s Mastic Trail, a 2-mile traditional path through unspoiled woodlands.

There are so many lovely restaurants to try during your island stay, ranging from traditional Caribbean cuisine with a contemporary twist. You can try the local conch or jerk chicken re-imagined in a more refined way. Alternatively, to grab the real essence of the Island, you could try some of the flaky pastries filled with delicious spicy vegetables or meat – these patties are consumed on the go by locals at any time of day. Finally, there is the divine Heavy Cake, a fragrant treat made without flour or egg for the sweet-toothed among you. With coconut, lime, mango and hot spices, it is the perfect treat after dinner or as part of a traditional English afternoon tea.
