The home was built in the fifteenth century and was originally constructed as a summer retreat for aristocrats; and acts as a beautiful getaway, a place to relax, enjoy, and entertain your loved ones. Now it will be a home for you and your guests where you can create lifelong memories and soak in the warm Mediterranean sun.

The home was recently restored to its former glory. Designers and decorators worked closely with conservation and restoration experts, as the villa is a registered Croatian National Heritage monument.

Still, this means you can feel the centuries past when climbing the original stone staircase or reaching for a book from the 15th Century wall niche. The private chapel of St. Jerome in the quiet back corner of the garden is a magnificent part of the estate, as having a place of worship nearby was highly appreciated in the old times.

The main entrance to the villa sits at the deep end of Zaton bay, along the beautiful waterfront promenade. Stepping into the southern courtyard, its massive stone walls immediately resonate an exclusive experience and true privacy, an atmosphere quite different from newly built villas.

This space is furnished with outdoor sofas. The courtyard is focused on the beautiful staircase leading onto a very modern structure, the glass bridge, running over the courtyard at full length and connecting two outdoor terraces on the first-floor level.

You can enter the main house from the courtyard, which comprises 580 m2 of space spread over two-floor levels. Local materials such as Croatian stone, tufa, top-quality wood, and glass dominate the interior, giving a unique and rustic feel.

The entrance foyer is the central space of the ground floor in the villa and also acts as a welcome area and a lounge, a perfect place for guests to rest their feet after a day of adventuring. To the right of the foyer, two double rooms with bathrooms each feature unique elements, such as an exit directly to the gardens or the bench placed within an arched niche which was originally an entrance for boats.

Turning left from the foyer, you will pass the fully equipped professional kitchen, a large, open-concept area of tufa ceilings and stone floors and walls featuring a modernly equipped bar area, a cozy living room space with a fireplace and an impressive dining area, dominated by the massive, one-piece table made of wood and stone, suitable for sixteen people.

The first floor of the home comprises four luxury suites, each on two-floor levels and organized around the same concept: a comfortable lounge and a contemporary bathroom with a walk-in shower and floor heating on the lower level and a wooden staircase leading up to the gallery with a king size double bed. Each suite in the villa includes a satellite TV, a safe, and toiletries.
