Villa Philippe is a gated property. Stepping through the iron gates on arrival is already a sensory experience as the private courtyard, centrepiece of the villa, welcomes you inside your temporary urban oasis, away from your daily routine. The ensemble of pool, jacuzzi and terrace provides the perfect solution to relax and unwind, a place to enjoy the outdoors in the privacy of your own home away from home.
This 9,500 sqft home, of which 5,000 sqft are indoor spaces, features four bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, plus the added value of turning the den into a fifth room. The master bedroom is very ample and light with original touches in its décor, furnished with a king-sized bed, a walk-in closet and a marble bathroom with a huge window overlooking the privacy of the side garden. The rest of the rooms are on the second floor of the property. Two of them host queen-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms, and the fourth is a twin queen-sized beds bedroom with its own bathroom. Given the sleeping arrangements, Villa Philippe is the perfect place for a weekend getaway with friends or a family vacation. If you add the use of the den as an extra bedroom, then the total number of guests becomes twelve.
The indoors communal living quarters are placed in what is called the Great Room. It features an all in one area with a 24-ft ceiling which makes the space airy and bright. The seamless flow between the sitting room, the dining area, the kitchen and the indoors and outdoors, make it the perfect home for entertaining. It showcases a European Gourmet Kitchen and a Sub Zero Refrigerator for the chef or chefs of the group to indulge in, and an easily accessible bar refrigerator and ice maker for the expert cocktail mixer. A nicely appointed grill nook on the patio calls for organizing a lovely meal outdoors when the weather is mild and the evening sounds lull you into relaxation mode.
If you are the exercise addict or like to kick-off your day with a bit of muscle tuning, Villa Philippe also offers a private gym featuring a cable machine, free weights and core strength equipment. This, combined with a bit of jogging around the neighbourhood or a day out on the beach, will definitely help you in disconnecting from your usual routine.
