Villa Maria is one of three sister villas named, together with the Niña and Pinta, in homage to Christopher Columbus who discovered the island and named it after his brother, Bartholomeo. These three villas can be rented together or separately. Maria arcs above Point Milou’s dramatic, craggy coastline. French designer Olivia Putnam took her inspiration from a ship’s bow and the villa faces the sea and the sound of the surf adds to the ambience.

Sleekly modern, natural materials, including bamboo and volcanic stone, link to nature and complement the surrounding lush tropical vegetation and the sound of the surf. Bi-level, Maria is configured with 2 bedrooms on the main level and two downstairs. Each has an en suite bath, a dressing room, and a console-style desk. Airy and spacious, there’s a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room, a dining area, and a separate media room. A deck —with a private pool— is furnished for outdoor living, relaxing and enjoying glorious sunsets.

Just steps from the 5-star Christopher – one of the island’s iconic hotels—villa guests have access to 24/7 room service and all the hotel’s amenities which include two restaurants, a beach bar, its decadent Spa Sisley. And there’s a spectacular seaside swimming pool banked with super-comfy chaises. Villa guests can settle in and simply sign for any of the services they desire. Villa Maria is ideal for extended families and gatherings of friends – all of whom will savour the perfect combination of luxury, service, and privacy.
