The living areas of this splendid villa are beautifully furnished and elegantly decorated. It is plain to see that the owner of this house has an understanding of life’s finest pleasures.
On arrival to the house, a stately foyer leads to the grand living room featuring an ornate fireplace, and oversized plush couches. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen has been thoughtfully fitted with 2 dishwashers and a fireplace in the informal sitting area, where your guests can gather and watch the cook at work. An adjoining formal dining room, with yet another fireplace, can seat 12 guests comfortably at an elegant dining table, adorned by a sparkling crystal chandelier. The lower level of the house boasts a games room, complete with Billiards table, Ping-Pong table and Table football.
The fully equipped fitness room/gym has everything you need to keep in shape and a therapeutic sauna provides another luxury. A 12-seat den with big screen TV and surround sound is a wonderful addition to a house which already has an abundance of entertainment space whether it be for relaxation or recreation.
The highlight of the immaculate landscaped garden to the rear of the property has to be the heated saltwater pool and a pool house fitted with full kitchen, bathroom and sitting area. The patio around the pool has an abundance of sun loungers, umbrellas and a gazebo with more seating. The welcoming heated swimming pool and hot tub are surrounded by reclining pool loungers and umbrellas. The lawn space is large enough for any ball games, with 2 football nets or indeed any sport of choice. A Barbeque Gas Grill and ample seating allows for Al Fresco dining any time of the day, and a Fire Pit provides the perfect place to be when night falls, toasting Marshmallows and making delicious Smores under the stars.
DINING
Villa Filoli features an amazing eat-in gourmet kitchen as well as a formal dining room. Budding cooks will love the kitchen area featuring every state-of-the-art device required to create culinary delights. Al Fresco Dining is made simple with the convenience of a fitted kitchen in the Pool House and a Barbeque Grill. Or, if you prefer, when you book your stay with Exceptional Villas, you also have the choice of having a private chef cook for you. Your personal concierge will be very happy to recommend and arrange this. If you prefer to eat out, you have a great choice of excellent restaurants in and around Southampton. Area description
Southampton is a village in the southeast corner of Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. Named after the Earl of Southampton in the mid-16th Century, the village itself is part of the larger town by the same name and is the oldest, largest and some say most prestigious of all of the communities in The Hamptons. Southampton has historically been home to many prominent families including members of the Ford, Eisenhower and Vanderbilt families. Today, the village is home to half of the billionaires who have residences in The Hamptons.
The area has many unspoilt, pristine beaches for swimming and water sports or you could spend an afternoon browsing around the quaint antique shops and boutiques in the village. History buffs will love the choice of museums nearby and there are many excellent restaurants in and around the area. The best way to get to Southampton from Manhattan is by train. Alternatively, you can travel by car or bus or even take a private plane.
