Great Villa
I stayed in Villa Diana in Sea Horse Ranch with my family and really enjoyed it. There are many activities for children to do including horse riding, tennis, hiking, swimming in the pool and going to the beach. its not a very busy resort so if you are looking for a resort full of people with many bars and restaurants this is not the place for you. In fact there is just one restaurant in the resort but its fantastic,. They serve wonderful delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner and you can get a take out too. What I loved about Sea Horse Ranch is the relaxation and tranquillity you feel from the moment you arrive and all through-out your stay. The location is great as you are right on the ocean. I would love to go back!
Description
Welcome to Villa Diana, a stunning four-bedroom villa in the Dominican Republic. This villa comes with a lovely private pool located in the heart of the very luxurious Sea Horse Ranch Resort in Cabarete on the beautiful North Coast.
When you arrive in Villa Diana you will feel you have landed in paradise. As you enter the villa you will be in the open plan living and dining area which has soaring ceilings and features plush white furnishings and a stunning formal dining table, seating 8 people. An eclectic mix of local art in serene palettes and vintage black and white local photography connects the home to the local colors and environment.
Double doors lead out to the wonderful garden and pool area. More than 20 royal palms grace the lush gardens. Days can be spent relaxing poolside with a drink in hand or enjoying a splash about in the pool with friends. There is lovely outdoor dining perfect for having lunch alfresco or you can relax on the oversized couches reading a book in the shade.
Inside the villa comes a beautiful American-style kitchen with granite countertops - ideal for a gourmet chef. A nice idea is to bring our excellent chef in some evening to cook a delicious family meal or enjoy in-villa dining from the beach club. The villa also has a lovely air-conditioned & soundproof TV room perfect to keep the children entertained in the evenings.
Serenely located on a quiet cul de sac, Villa Diana in Sea Horse Ranch is private yet only 5 minutes walk to the Beach Club where you have a wonderful oceanfront setting on the cliffside where you can see and hear the waves crash against the rocks. The beach club serves some delicious food and can also be ordered as a take-out.
This stunning Cabarete villa rental comes with 4 luxury bedrooms which are tastefully finished in sage and amber hues. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms finished in Carrara marble vanities, crisp white tiles, and Frette towels with appointed storage and hooks for wet suits.
The Master bedroom is located upstairs and features a king-size bed and balcony with a beautiful large en-suite bathroom. Downstairs on the main level, you will find the 3 additional bedrooms. One bedroom is located off the kitchen and comes with a queen-size bed. The other two bedrooms are located to the opposite side of the villa. One features 2 double beds and has a lovely garden view. The other bedroom leads out to the pool and garden and comes with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom.

The Beach Club Restaurant
Sea Horse Ranch Beach Club restaurant stands on a cliff jutting out into the ocean and enjoys stunning sea views. It has a glass wall which the waves lap against as you enjoy your meal while listening to the sound of the ocean beneath you. There is also live music here every Saturday night
The cuisine here is primarily Mediterranean with a wide choice of fresh salads, a wide variety of pastas, grilled sea foods, and classics such as the Argentinean cut of beef Churrasco, Filet Mignon in porcine, pepper, or Gorgonzola sauces to name a few.
And if you don’t want to leave the comfort of your villa the Beach club restaurant will be happy to deliver a delicious meal directly to you.
Seaside swimming pools
The Seaside Pools at the Beach Club for the pleasure of the entire Sea Horse Ranch Community. The pool is designed with a natural aesthetic that blends with the natural beauty of the El Bosque nature reserve which features more than 15 different tree species and is home to an abundance of herrings, gulls and marine crustaceans.
The main pool features two hydrotherapy cascades and is 5 feet deep. The smaller pool, designed for children, is two feet deep. Guests and villa owners enjoy the pool's ocean views and it has become a significant socializing point and meeting place for the community. Poolside drink service and towels are provided here.
Tennis Club
The Sea Horse Ranch Tennis Club features a Pro Shop, 5 clay courts, ball boys and private lessons for adults and children. Two courts are equipped with lighting for night play. This is by far the best place to play tennis on the North Coast and access to the courts is open to the general public. Many long term residents are able to join the Tennis Academy and sign up for ongoing group lessons.
Equestrian Centre and Horseback Riding
Ride horses on the beautiful beaches of the Caribbean. The Equestrian Centre at Sea Horse Ranch is a full service facility offering organized tours on over 7 miles of trails along pristine beaches and into tropical forests - the best of both worlds. Private lessons are available in dressage and jumping for advanced riders and novice alike. With 25 stalls, the ranch has stable board’s paso finos, quarter horses and thoroughbreds as well as ponies for the little ones. If you´re interested in riding horses in the Dominican Republic, the Sea Horse Ranch is the place.
About Cabarete
The small quant French seaside-town of Cabarete is a mere 8 minutes drive from your luxury rental villa. The long extensive main beach of Cabarete is here. The beach is lined with many restaurants and bars serving lunch and dinner with views of the sea and beach. It is quite a lively spot at night with many bustling restaurants and many of the bars turning into discos.
Life in Cabarete here centres on the beach. During the day it is filled with adventure-seeking surfers and sun bathers who convert to casual diners by night dining on steaks, pasta, pizza and fresh seafood caught directly out of the sea. Dining for dinner is casual.
Though Cabarete is famous for windsurfing, kite boarding and traditional surfing, it offers far more than that. The advantage Cabarete has over other destinations is its abundance of nearby sports and activities including tennis, white-water rafting, caving, canoing, kayaking, cascading, dirt biking, rappelling, hiking, trekking and more. Many of these are offered through Iguana Mama, the Dominican Republic’s first licensed eco/active tourism business.
