Welcome to Vieux Moulin, The Old Mill House Garden Apartment located in the very heart of Zermatt village. This charming 3-bedroom apartment comes with its own lawn and south facing deck area perfect for enjoying the sunshine and the Matterhorn views. The location is truly unique being location in the centre of town at the end of a quiet street. The apartment is situated next to the church making it just steps from the main shopping street in Zermatt as well as a nice selection of pubs, restaurants and the supermarket. The location is wonderful and it is the ideal base for exploring Zermatt and its surrounding areas.

This three-bedroom apartment is bright and airy and offers 95m2 of space. The apartment is one of a kind and offers a wonderful location and view. Two of the three bedrooms have French windows leading to the garden and lawn where you can sit out and relax while reading a book in the summer. In the Winter months the area would be covered in Snow. The lawn is perfect for kids whatever the season. Located in the centre of the lawn you will find the old grinding stone from the original water mill hence the name Vieux Moulin. The living room of Vieux Moulin also features French Doors offering wonderful Matterhorn views.

The property was renovated in 2017 and features high quality Scandinavian style furniture and a Sonos sound system. The beds are superbly comfortable! There are two double bedrooms, one which features twin mattresses, while the third bedroom comes with two single beds which can be pushed together to make a double bed. The apartment features just one bathroom, with a bath-tub and separate shower and WC.
The open-plan kitchen comes fully equipped and features a lovely marble worktop. The area is spacious and is equipped with a dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge-freezer and Nespresso machine.

And the heart of old Zermatt is literally around the corner from the chalet. Here you will find a wonderful selection of charming shops and restaurants. Conveniently located close to the church there is also an electric ski bus stop is just around the corner. Although you are in the middle of this bustling resort, the Old Mill House sits in an oasis of calm, where the main things you will hear are bird song and the church bells. The perfect holiday spot.

Vieux Moulin sleeps 6 although it is also ideal for smaller groups. Like our other luxury chalets near the centre of the village, the chalet includes many modern comforts such as a large LCD flat screen cable TV, Sonos sound system, free wireless broadband internet access and all usual modern kitchen appliances.
