Welcome to Villa Verdiana, a fabulous 11-bedroom villa complex, set in the rolling green hills of Tuscany, Italy.

Set within an expansive estate of mature olive trees, and backed by acres of lush green forests, Villa Verdiana is afforded the utmost in privacy, with a set of well-tended hedges and trees bordering the roadside. A traditional style used in the construction of the villa results in beautiful stonework and natural materials used, particularly the marriage of expert carpentry and masonry. Terracotta tiles top each of the three buildings, completing the aesthetic of the classic Italian villa, an idyllic spot for your dream Tuscan escape. Perfect for large families and groups, the main villa, cottage, and annex that is Verdiana can accommodate a maximum of twenty people. Joining them together, a gorgeous stone terrace narrows into a path, that winds its way through the landscaped lawns and gardens of the villa. A large saltwater swimming pool resides a short distance away, an oasis when the sun is at its zenith is populated with sun loungers awaiting eager guests who wish to soak up the rays.

Inside, a modern twist has been added to the rustic charm the villa possesses; clean white walls, wood beam ceilings, and cool cotto tile floors are common throughout the villa, but are accented by stylish, chic furniture in all; the lounge area contains large and soft sofas, arranged to appreciate the warmth of a crackling fire in the hearth. A tall bookcase against the wall filled with books invites you to take a seat and dive into the pages while the heat of the flames washes over you. Several fireplaces are to be found throughout, one such fireplace with a wide chimney breast in the main villa salon; a baby grand piano sits in the corner, awaiting the practiced hands of the musically inclined, with plenty of plush seating available for avid listeners. A separate TV room also provides a space to relax and enjoy a movie or downtime in between the exploration of Italy’s many attractions.

Verdiana has two kitchens at its disposal, one in the main villa, and the second in the cottage; both equipped with modern appliances to suit any culinary requirement, in the hands of a professional chef, it is capable of producing mouth-watering fare, and guests will have to look no further than the comfort of the villa to experience truly authentic Italian cuisine. The options of dining indoors or out are facilitated by a large dining area in the main villa, with terrace doors that allow guests to take their plates outside to the stone patio on a whim. Whether it be a lavish dinner in the beautiful and sun-lit dining room, or enjoying the true Italian al fresco experience, mealtimes will always be anticipated.

There are six bedrooms in the main villa, two in the cottage, two in the annex and one in the studio; all are lavishly furnished, and the beds are dressed in high-quality linens, so sinking into the sheets each night is a joy. Each room is afforded its own en-suite bathroom; several en-suites contain deep bathtubs as well as showers.

A gym for those who wish to keep up their regimen is suitably equipped for a complete workout; the gym has also been furnished with a Turkish bath, the perfect solution for relaxing after an intense gym session.

LOCATION DETAILS
An enclosed property on a private estate, complete privacy is afforded to guests of the villa. The property, while private and secluded, is a short distance from Panzano, the closest town to the villa. With ample shops to frequent for necessities and requirements, restaurants and bars are also ready to serve authentic Italian cuisine, as guests explore what delights the Tuscan countryside has to offer.
For lovers of art and history, the Tuscan countryside is steeped in history - Florence, the seat of the famous Medici family, lies to the north of the villa, and is the reputed heart of the Renaissance. The most populated city in Tuscany, Florence has a long history stretching back to Roman times, with architectural and artistic wonders on display in its many basilicas, churches, museums and castles.
Wine connoisseurs and enthusiasts will be pleased to learn that the villa lies within a rather large and famous wine-producing region of Italy, the Chianti region. Several wineries are to be found throughout, several to be found in Gaiole, a medieval village that served as an important trading post in eras gone by. Locally produced wines with a vast variety of flavours and tastes are waiting to be sampled and are sure to tickle the palate.
Further afield, the often overlooked but no less beautiful city of Pistoia is to the north west of Florence, and contains many more important historical landmarks, as well as an ample supply of shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs to sample on your exploration into Italian culture.
