From The Lion, guests can easily walk to Lionshead village or catch Vail’s complimentary shuttle bus which stops directly in front of The Lion & provides transportation into Vail Village. The wonderful facilities like Vail’s slopes, ski school, restaurants & shops are all there for your enjoyment.
The Lion W303 is a stunning rental & from the moment you enter the residence, the stylish décor & space really bode well for a relaxing break. All of the 4 bedroom properties are finished to the highest standards. The high ceilings give a great sense of space while the inviting gas fire gives a warm & really cosy feel. The open plan kitchen, dining & living area is vast with lots of space for families to relax, unwind & come together for delicious meals prepared in the designer kitchen. Luxury hard wood floors, marble bathrooms & walnut cabinets all enhance your stay at The Lion. There’s a feature breakfast counter for hearty breakfasts or a morning coffee before you hit the slopes for a wonderful days skiing & a beautiful dining table seating up to 10 people for entertaining in the evenings.
The sumptuous master bedroom has a king size bed, feature fireplace, large flatscreen TV & a gorgeous marble ensuite bathroom with bath & double size free standing shower. Guest bedroom 2 also features a King size bed with a private patio area and seating where guests can relax & enjoy the mountain air. There’s also an ensuite marble bathroom with shower. Guest bedroom 3 is a wonderful family room, ideal for children or teens featuring 2 double sized bunk beds which are great for sharing. The room is playfully decorated & also features an ensuite bathroom with shower. Guest bedroom 4 is a bright spacious King bedroom with it’s own private balcony with table & seating. There are beautiful views of the mountains from the balcony. A wonderful space to enjoy a warm drink, read a book or just get away from it all. There’s also an ensuite marble bathroom with shower.
All the villas come with complimentary WiFi and there is limited housekeeping every other day. There is also a laundry room with washer, dryer, drying rail, iron and board. The guest powder room is in the hallway.
Residents at The Lion have complimentary use of the indoor swimming pool, both indoor and outdoor hot tubs along with the gym and sauna.

Lionshead is a beautiful & friendly village that is completely closed off to cars & buses offering a short walk to the Eagle Bahn gondola, Chair 8, Lionshead Ski School, the Arrabelle Square outdoor ice rink (with skate rental & of course numerous fantastic restaurants.
The village was originally built in the late 60’s but was recently renovated in Austrian inspired style. There’s a great mix of shopping from luxury goods to all the favourite outdoor lifestyle brands like Patagonia & The North Face.
The walk between Lionshead & Vail Village takes just 10-15 minutes or you can always take the complimentary bus that runs all day long between the two towns. It runs well into the evening time too.
Nearby Vail is such a great place for families to stroll around in summer or winter. It’s connected by pedestrian friendly heated streets & the free transportation system runs frequently so access anywhere in the area is easy & without hassle.
