The Lion is one of the newest luxury developments located near the beautiful village of Lionshead in Vail, Colorado. Lionshead is a beautiful Bavarian-inspired village at the base of the Eagle Bahn Gondola. It boasts many wonderful restaurants, an ice rink, a variety of great shops and is a Car-Free Zone. A stay at The Lion will ensure guests of an unforgettable skiing holiday.

This luxury development includes 65 residences from one-bedroom studios to four-bedroom apartment each finished to a high standard. One of The Lions unique selling points is its location. Set in a quiet private area yet having convenient access to the popular Vail’s slopes, ski school, restaurants, and shops. Guests can walk to Lionshead village or the free bus service which stops outside the complex and will bring you to the wonderful Vail Village which is just a short distance away.

These 4-bedroom luxury apartments are all designed slightly different yet finished beautifully. When stepping through the doors of E503, you immediately get a sense of warmth and cosiness which is encouraged by the dark hardwood flooring that lures you to the fireplace in the living room. This area is bright and spacious with natural light pouring in through the floor to ceiling windows. Eye-catching artwork gives a splash of colour to the walls. Each apartment has several balconies which are also furnished.

Also, in the living area you will find dining for up to 8 guests, there is a fully equipped kitchen with all modern appliances and a breakfast bar that seats 4 guests. This is a great place to catch up over morning coffee.

The bedrooms are designed with large windows, tan coloured walls and soft carpet. The master bedroom is located at the back of the apartment. It boasts a king-size bed, fireplace, TV and ensuite bathroom featuring a separate bathtub and shower. The other 2 bedrooms are on the right side of the villa and feature a king bedroom and a room with 2 queen bedroom that can sleep up to 4 guests. All have TV’s and ensuite bathrooms with showers.

All the villas come with complimentary WiFi and there is limited housekeeping every other day. There is also a laundry room with washer, dryer, drying rail, iron, and board. The fourth toilet is in the hallway. Guests who stay at The Lion have complimentary use of the indoor swimming pool, both indoor & outdoor hot tubs along with the gym and sauna. There is also a kid’s playroom.

As well as fabulous skiing and snowboarding, Vail offers all year exercises for the entire family. Grasp your audacious side and investigate our impeccable nature trails by walking, on a bicycle, or even riding a horse. The Vail Golf Course is a short drive from here for those of you who fancy a game. There is something to do here all times of the year.
