Great villa
We were so impressed with Sundown. The location is superb - literally 2 mins walk to Mullins beach which is just wonderful for swimming in crystal clear waters and you can take great beach walks too, all the way down to Gibbs. Sundown is a large 4 bedroom property ideal for families or couples who want to relax, have plenty of space and enjoy the delicious cooking and hospitality of the lovely staff there. There are 3 levels in the villa. One bedroom is downstairs, the living area is on the ground level & upstairs there are 3 further bedrooms with seaviews & the Master has a great seaview balcony. There's even a den with exercise equipment. I'd highly recommend Sundown to beachlovers, families who love a private swimming pool or couples travelling together.
Description
Welcome to Sundown Villa, a lovely 4 bedroom villa located just a short 2 minute walk from Mullins Bay Beach in Barbados. The location is superb as you are within walking distance of one of the nicest beaches on the island. Here you can enjoy a casual lunch at Sea Shed Restaurant and there are plenty of water sports available.
The villa is surrounded by a lush tropical garden and features a charming outdoor terrace and pool where you can enjoy a refreshing dip after a day at the beach. There is also a lovely outdoor Gazebo with dining table where you have alfresco bbq’s with family and friends. In addition there is a hammock where you can sit and relax while reading a book.
All four bedrooms are fully air-conditioned with en suite bathrooms; three of the bedrooms offer delightful views of Mullins Beach. Its good to know that the fourth bedroom is positioned in the "basement" though not underground. It's a queen room and can be best suited to teens. The villa also features an outdoor shower and barbeque grill.

Beach Club Access at Mullins Beach - Royal Westmoreland
Larry Rogers Beach Club on Mullins Beach sustained damages during the passage of Hurricane Beryl, and it is now closed for repairs. It'll be back better than ever in a couple of months! Updates will be passed on as they are shared with us.
For those villas where the RWM membership is included in the rates, please note the following:
- The beach is open, and guests can get a chair, umbrella, and towel from the beach attendants as customary
- Parking at Singita Wellness is still open to guests with access cards
- Bathroom facilities are located across the street from the beach club and are separate from Singita's bathrooms
- SeaShed is located next door to Larry Rogers and will be open every day from 11:30am (always check directly with the SeaShed for changes to opening days/times). This is an option for meals and drinks at the guests' expense as the restaurant of the Club is closed for refurbishment.

Lovely staff & great location
Sundown worked so well for us! It really is so close to the beach yet we had the privacy of this lovely home to retreat to. The bedrooms are all so spacious and we loved the seaviews. The staff took great care of us & we loved Ms. Wills cooking. The grandkids had an absolute ball in the swimming pool.

Literally 2 mins to Mullins beach
Sundown is a great family villa with its own good size swimming pool. 3 bedrooms have great seaviews & I just loved the close proximity to Mullins beach..It really is just 2 mins walk so you've got the privacy of your own pool & gardens but yet so close to the beach. There's a big bbq grill on the deck - we spent lots of time relaxing & dining there. I also loved the hammock for chilling out!
