For a large group travelling together, Villa Serena can be rented alongside Villa Maria as the beautiful 13-bedroom Cigno Estate.

The villa is located down a shaded quarter-mile road, guarded by a charming old gatehouse. Wake up to the sound of bird song in the morning as the surrounding seven acres of luxuriant woodland and gardens guarantees blissful nature sounds, and seclusion. For those looking to make the most of the temperate Italian climate, there is a grand furnished terrace, including stylish chaise longues, which boasts unparalleled views of the lake and surrounding foothills. You can spend the afternoon laying out, soaking up the sun, sipping on a delicious Aperol Spritz, followed by a refreshing swim in the private heated panoramic pool. Or better still, why not take advantage of the estate's 100 feet of exclusive shoreline and have a dip right in the lake's crystal-clear waters. From the property park, you can leave via a private gate straight into the nearby village to stroll around its charming square on the harbor, 17th-century church, and village garden.

Inside, the villa is furnished with the finest Italian linens and stunning antiques from the owner's private collection. The sense of grandeur begins the moment you step in the door into the frescoed entrance hall. The central living room boasts a 1900 Blunter Grand piano, and with French doors that open directly out on the lakefront terrace, it is a great space for those who love to entertain. • The Italian government might require the payment of a Visitor’s Tax (approximately €1.50 – €5.00 per person, per day, depending on the location) and may be applied for the first seven days in the destination. This tax is payable locally, in Euro cash.
