Comfortably sleeping up to 8 guests, this is the perfect base for a vacation to Italy's most dramatic region. Dreamy days spent lounging by your pool interlaced with outings to the surrounding coastline villages and towns make this a trip that can be both rejuvenating and reinvigorating.

When you arrive at Sentiero della Valle (literally meaning the Path through the Valley), you get a sense of how self-contained your vacation home is. Neatly contained within a natural stone wall, you can park your car/s and take in the sweep of your gorgeous pool and the traditional rustic style of your home.

The interior of the villa has those pretty arched ceilings and stone walls indicative of this style of property. These features provide a cozy setting at night and a refreshing coolness by day. The kitchen has an authentic Italian feel but with all the modern conveniences you would like. Light flows into the property through the windows, and traditional wooden shutters can be closed for a divinely decadent post-lunch siesta!

There are tasteful spaces throughout the property to relax and congregate. Outside, there are lovely places to cook and dine. The wonderful roof terrace offers sweeping views across the valley. Olive trees, interspersed with the conical roofs of nearby farms, disappear into the hazy horizon.

Sentiero della Valle is in the center of Italy's heel in the middle of a wide valley of olive trees. You are 15km from the nearest beach and only a short distance of about 1.5km to some restaurants, services, and shops.

Italy's Puglia region has become one of the most desirable locations to vacation in Italy. It has arrived late to the Italian tourist trail, so luckily, many villages and communities feel as though they are preserved in time.

The region's cuisine differs from the dishes found in more northern territories, and you will love sampling pasta like troccoli, cicatelli, sagne ncannulate. Heading southwards, you can visit Brindisi, one of those amazing natural port towns with its own unique flavor. Interestingly, it's the stepping-off point if you wish to hop on a boat to Greece.
