Retreat at Tryall

Welcome to Retreat, part of the celebrated Tryall Club in beautiful Jamaica. Comfortably sleeping up to 10 guests, this self-contained, luxurious sea-view property with a private pool is adjacent to the Club's golf course and the shortest stroll to the Club's private Beach.

Retreat is nestled in mature gardens with green lawns and a profusion of palm trees to complete the Caribbean idyll. The property is set within the 2200-acre magnificence that is the hillside and coastal Tryall Club.

Retreat has generous and airy high ceilings, pretty louver windows, an attractive colonnade, an inner courtyard, and a gorgeous veranda and pool. There's ample space for children to run around and enjoy the liberty of a blissful Caribbean vacation. The spacious living room has a wet bar, cable TV, and DVD player and opens onto a veranda. Meals can be enjoyed indoors or on your patio next to the pool.



All five bedrooms are air-conditioned, with ceiling fans, and are ensuite. The master bedroom and two guest bedrooms are in the main Villa. The guest cottages that along with the main Villa make up Retreat and have a bedroom each. Honeymoon Cottage and Owners Cottage are beautiful properties and create the perfect formula for a multi-generational family vacation.

The Great House at the heart of Tryall Club is the epicenter of activity at the Resort. This house is where the reception is located and the games room. In addition, complimentary afternoon tea is served daily at 4pm, continuing a tradition that's been in place for almost 100 years.

A private dinner on the Great House Terrace can be arranged for your group. One of those unforgettable dining experiences perfect for marking a special birthday. Considered one of the most romantic locations to get married, the Great House has a long history of hosting memorable events.

The Beach Restaurant and Beach Grill offer delicious casual lunchtime and evening dining. With fresh produce harvested from Tryall's organic garden, the menus are a delight. Fresh vegetables, herbs, and fruit from the 15 varieties of trees on the property combine with the finest meat and seafood to create gorgeous dishes. Fruit smoothies are the freshest, and let's not forget a fruity cocktail or rum punch. A whole day relaxing at Tryall's private Beach can be so pampering. The amazing fresh pizza's produced at the Beach's pizza grill can also be delivered to your Villa if you prefer a lazy day by your pool.

For the food enthusiasts in your group, book lunch in the Organic Garden. Sitting under a bamboo canopy, a group of 8 to 20 guests can dine on the incredible fresh produce grown around you. Stroll through the garden and appreciate the interesting crops that flourish in the ambient climate of Jamaica.

For fun-filled evenings, each Monday and Thursday night, there are theme nights for all the family to enjoy. Each Monday, guests gather from 7pm-9pm in the winter season to feast on Jamaican food with a live floor show. All year round, Thursday nights are dedicated to a Reggae Beach Party. A fabulous buffet and dancing on the Beach celebrate Jamaica's happy party vibe.

Golf enthusiasts will enjoy having one of the Caribbean's most picturesque and well-established 18-hole links courses right on Retreat's doorstep. The Montego Bay Golf Club is rated as one of the finest courses in the Caribbean. Tennis is another welcome feature of life at Tryall. You can play, practice, or learn the art of a good game with courts and a tennis pro.

Well-being is woven into the fabric of life at Retreat. The 2200 acres of the Club offer gorgeous trails for an early morning walk or jog. There's a massage center to promote deeper relaxation. Therapies can be provided at Retreat too. It couldn't be easier.
Yoga instructors run classes at picturesque locations around the Resort.

To add another meaningful layer to your relaxation, Retreat has a team of staff comprising a chef, head of house, housekeeper, laundress, and gardener.

LOCATION:
Retreat, the luxurious haven in the heart of Tryall Club, is located in Sandy Bay, Jamaica. On a hilltop position and with a private sandy beach, the 2200-acre estate is the perfect setting for exploring some of the magical aspects of Jamaica. The lively town of Montego Bay is a short distance from the Club, and you can enjoy a stroll down the energizing Hip Strip, stopping for great food, shopping, and music.

ATVs or Dune Buggy Safaris are popular activities as is a tour of Dunns' River Falls. Sailing, fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, and diving it's all part of the Jamaica experience. Visit a rum distillery to get a real flavor of Jamaica. There's a lot of history, too – visit Rose Hall or Green Wood Great House.
