Perfect for a large group!
I visited Pyrgos Estate in Santorini and loved it! It is split between three villas making it ideal for a group of family and friends travelling together who also like their own privacy. The villa has a gated entrance and is located a few hundred metres from the traditional village of Pyrgos. It is a short drive from Fira - Santorini's capital which is well-worth checking out and I would highly recommend visiting Oia to browse the beautiful boutiques and local cafés. Breakfast is served daily at the villa. The staff is also wonderful and very helpful! I would definitely recommend Pyrgos Estate. Good to note; I would recommend hiring a car if staying at Pyrgos Estate as it is quite secluded (part of the beauty of staying here) and our Concierge Team can assist with this.

Pyrgos Estate is split between three levels in order to ensure privacy among the members of the group. The property is ideal for a group of family and friends travelling together and is a great base to explore the incredible island of Santorini – and to use it as a base while guests island hop to other beautiful islands in the Cyclades.
Pyrgos Estate rooms and living areas are designed to offer a comfortable high-quality accommodation for guests. The rooms are functional and elegant with minimal decoration - all overlooking the sea and encouraging lots of natural light.

Area description
Santorini is an island that needs no introductions. On the top ten “most desired” destinations worldwide for the past ten years, almost everyone wishes to visit the island for at least one time in their lives. The only habitable caldera in the world and a famous destination for weddings, honeymoons and lovers of unique views it attracts visitors literally from all parts of the world.
Not only is Santorini one of the most beautiful islands in the world, it is also geologically and archaeologically one of the most dramatic. The island, which is also called Thira, is shaped like an enormous pair of jaws encircling a lake filled with pure blue water. This is the core of an ancient volcano, which according to legend destroyed the lost continent of Atlantis when it blew its top about 3,600 years ago, burying the ancient city of Akrotiri (now being excavated) under tons of ash and sending out tidal waves that inundated other landmasses.
The island's two towns, Fira and Ia, are perched on the cliff tops of the highest part of the island. Ferries arrive and depart in the harbour below, and visitors walk or ride donkeys up the steep winding path to the towns. The towns are equipped with hotels, good restaurants, bars and plenty of nightlife to keep visitors happy while you relax between visiting the archaeological remains of ancient Thera, dating back to the 9th century BC, on the east side of the island. Other attractions include the excavations at Akrotiri, an archaeological museum and an 18th-century monastery. Santorini has two swimming beaches, Perissa and Kamari, both characterised by their volcanic black sand.
