Nestled between the enchanting regions of Tuscany and Umbria, Palazzo Rosadi is a luxurious villa positioned conveniently near historic art cities such as Cortona and Arezzo. Located just 3 km from Monterchi, the charming town where Piero della Francesca created his celebrated fresco "Madonna del Parto" in the late 15th century, this villa offers an ideal base to explore the scenic villages and rich cultural sites that dot the Tuscan and Umbrian landscapes.
Dating back to 1785, Palazzo Rosadi has preserved its historical charm, capturing the essence of a bygone era. Inside, the villa transports guests back in time with its period ambiance, enhanced by the artistic touches of Luigi Puletti, a notable local artist who adorned the villa’s rooms with intricate decorations, adding an early Liberty-style flair. Surrounding the villa are 25 hectares of lush countryside filled with ancient oak trees, cypresses, and pines, through which a nature trail winds, allowing guests to discover the vibrant flora and fauna typical of this picturesque corner of Tuscany.
A one-hectare rose garden envelops the villa, while a charming pergola laden with Moscato and Canaiolo grapevines, used to produce traditional Tuscan holy wine, adds to the villa’s allure. The villa’s spacious private pool (6 by 12 meters, with a depth of 1.5 meters) offers a spectacular panoramic view from a terraced position below the villa. Complete with umbrellas, a gazebo with a dining area, sunbeds, and a shower, the pool and surrounding garden create a beautiful setting for relaxing summer evenings, enhanced by soft lighting and the option to savor a glass of local wine. For ultimate relaxation, guests may also enjoy a soak in the outdoor Jacuzzi, available upon request.
Spanning 500 square meters, Palazzo Rosadi balances traditional Tuscan architecture with modern comforts.
