Welcome to Villa Oil Press, a luxurious 5-bedroom villa situated in Crete, Greece. The villa specifically lies in the greater Apokoronos Chania area, in Agios Pavlos Gavalochori. Villa Oil Press can accommodate up to ten guests over three traditionally built independent Cottages. This Villa was originally built as a traditional oil press and comprises of three different suites: Olive tree, a Pomegranate tree, and Walnut tree. Since being remodeled into this private luxury villa the setting of the villa is one of the most picturesque villages in Europe. Villa Oil Press still holds hidden gems such as the original oil extraction machinery being preserved intact.

The villa's location offers a cool, alternative undercurrent, being secluded in the tropical landscaped gardens and been close to the local town and areas to explore. The surrounding vegetation is well maintained and cared for. Walk along the soft grass in your bare feet as you explore each carefully crafted corner in this garden. It is decorated with tropical trees and fruits and laced with private stepping stone pathways. The colorful gardens are designed for you to experience a truly authentic Greek lifestyle and to soak in these delicately crafted beautiful lands.

The properties lavish garden embeds a large tranquil swimming pool for you to indulge in. This crystalline pool acts like a still mirror in the peaceful garden. Slip into the crisp waters for a morning swim or simply dip your toes in its cool embrace as you sit under the suns radiance. Allow the tropical sanctuary to take your stresses away as you lay back onto the sun loungers up on the terrace. You can also find comfort in the shade cast by the large tropical trees that sway in the breeze. Practice yoga or even a calming meditation while you stay here, in the peaceful land. Exploring the olive tree cottage suite, you will come across the king-sized master bedroom and a minimalistic fireplace built into the wall. The room is decorated in lavish furnishings and an open bathroom is attached to the room. There is also a twin sized double bedroom located in this cottage. Moving on into the beautiful pomegranate cottage suite, this space is fitted with two more king-sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. Walnut tree Cottage has a king-sized bed and an attached bedroom.

LOCATION

The villa's location offers a cool, alternative undercurrent, being secluded in the tropical landscaped gardens and been close to the local town and areas to explore.

Agios Pavlos is a picturesque village in the center of the Apokoronas Peninsula, close to the villages of Vamos and Douliana. The Village is a short ten minutes’ drive at 1.1km. This village is a profusion of history, traditional settings and embraces a more natural tropical ambiance. An area is a place of pure natural beauty, although it is a rural village, Gavalohori includes some quaint taverns, cafés, a delightful bakery, a mini market, and various stores. The village-based near the soft sandy shores of Almyrida beach (5km) as well as many others you can indulge in.

The town also includes many leisurely walks around carefully designed footpaths that laced around Gavalohori. In amongst the scenic landscapes, you will discover an array of tropical plants including olive trees, carobs, and bushes of herbs, while there are also some historical monuments along the way.

Chania Airport is 34.5 km from your private villa which is an approximate 30 minutes’ drive. Heraklion is based further at 119km in total. If you wish to visit Souda Port or you are using this mode of travel, the villa is located 20km from here. Heraklion Port again is further in distance at 120km.
