Welcome to Nolen, a sleek 4-bedroom villa that resides quite close to Grand Cul-de-Sac, one of the longest stretches of beaches on the island of St. Barth’s.

Traditional Caribbean design features strongly in Nolen, wide arched doorways and lofty ceilings accommodating the fresh trade breezes that are brought in by the sea. Combined with that, the open floor plan and carefully considered décor that gathers inspiration from its surroundings, and Nolen’s ambience will settle you into island lifestyle straight away. The near seamless transition from the interior to the terrace will be a delight to lovers of indoor-outdoor living; the cool stone floors inside the villa match the terrace, before giving way to the sun deck.

The terrace surrounds a large swimming pool, steps leading the way down into the cool waters, the perfect spot to laze while enjoying the sun. Gathered around it are an array of seating options, everything from the sun loungers and benches to the plush couches and chairs that dot the wrap-around terrace. Enjoy the al fresco vibe either on the tall table and chairs under the shade of the pergola, great for breakfast and casual snacks, or take your seat at the dining table that overlooks the lagoon and the horizon beyond; very few dining experiences will ever be better than the Caribbean as a backdrop.
The great room, featuring the lounge, a fully equipped kitchen and breakfast bar, is the social hub of the interior and also access both the terrace to the rear and veranda to the front, a bridge between both. Casual chatter is easy to maintain, regardless of whether you’re preparing food or sprawled on the sofa.

All four bedrooms of Vila Nolen have been given the palatial treatment – luxurious beds and bedding are outfitted to each; the option to convert a twin room to a king is available, and vice versa, on request. Two rooms access their own en-suite bathrooms, whereas the remaining two share a bathroom between them. All four bedrooms access either the sun deck or the terrace.

Located close to Grand Cul-de-Sac on the eastern edge of the island, Nolen’s location gives it access to one of St Barth’s longest beaches. Grand Cul-De-Sac holds much adventure for the thrillseeker; for watersports and all related activities, it’s also one of the best spots on the island for surfing, standup paddle-boarding, windsurfing, kayaking and much more. 
 
The western side of St. Barth’s holds Gustavia, the capital of the island; a short drive from the villa, Gustavia hosts plenty of shops, bars and restaurants, to allow guests have their fill of retail therapy, experience the night life, sample the local cuisine, and for those with a keen interest in the past life of the island, explore some of the distinctive history of St. Barth’s - a good place to begin would be Gustavia itself, where the influences of past ruling countries still remain today; Fort Karl, a former military outpost, was left by the Swedish to protect the island in the 1700’s. The small size of the island also makes many of its finest features even more accessible; this makes it easy to explore it in a matter of a few days.
