Welcome to Libellule, a 5-bedroom ocean view villa perched along the coast of St Martin. Ideally located on the French side of the island, Libellule comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests. The villa overlooks some of the most incredible ocean views and indulges in a peaceful and secluded location on the elevated hillside.

Villa Libellule, meaning The Dragonfly, is an idyllic and recently renovated villa, based in the gated community of Les Terres Basses. The villa expands across five acres of elevated beachfront land along the coast and offers complete privacy during your stay. The villa has its very own direct access to Baie rouge beach, via a private pathway. Here you can enjoy endless sun-soaked hours lounging by the azure sea, exploring the crystal-clear waters, or walking along the shoreline as the waves roll onto your toes!

Driving up along the gently sloping driveway you will be greeted by the lush tropical gardens that surround this property. The courtyard provides ample parking and features a beautiful fountain along with the exteriors. The main entrance leads you directly into the open plan living area. Past the arched entrance, you will notice the stunning high-vaulted ceilings, traditional Caribbean shutters, cool limestone flooring, and glittering ocean views beyond. The room is flooded with light and warmth and provides ample seating around the wooden coffee table and TV. The dining area behind it seats 6 guests along with the thatched wooden chairs and has direct access out onto the terrace.

The villa has a fully equipped kitchen off the main living area. The room is designed with light wood cabinetry and has a large central island. It features Bosch appliances including two large refrigerators, an oven, a microwave, and a Siemens gas cooktop. At the back of the kitchen is a stone pathway lined with cashew trees, that leads you to the breakfast gazebo overlooking the sea and the beach of Baie Rouge just below.

The seafront terrace indulges in the spectacular backdrop of the Caribbean Sea and the island of Anguilla in the distance. The terrace provides a comfortable lounging area and a covered patio for alfresco dining. Along the terrace is a private pathway down to the pool house. Here you will find the large, private swimming pool overlooking the lagoon and the beautiful sunsets. This is a great spot to relax with your family and friends as you watch the setting sun. Sip on a fruity cocktail from the wet bar and listen to your favorite music on the surround sound system. Wherever you choose to relax, it’s hard not to fall in love with this incredible beachfront, Caribbean villa.

Villa Libellule has 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms in total. Each of the bedrooms is independent of the main living areas and is accessed from the exterior. Two bedrooms are situated on the main level. A few steps down from the main level are two further bedrooms. The final fifth bedroom is on a lower level. All five bedrooms are air-conditioned and have ceiling fans and Smart TVs.

LOCATION DETAILS
The Caribbean Island of St Martin is divided into two sides, the French and Dutch side. Its natural features include large lagoons, white/golden sand beaches and salt pans. The island has a vibrant tourist-friendly ambiance and nightlife. It offers it's guest a profusion of shopping opportunities as well as the famous duty-free shops. The island is dotted with high-end luxury resorts and the most exceptional villas.

Libellule is located on the French side. It is specifically based a gated community called les Terres Basses, which has full time security and a gated entrance. The villas here are very ultra-luxurious and there are three beaches that are all a short drive from the villas – Baie Rouge, Baie Longue and Plum Bay (has the best sunsets). It has guards at the gates of the community to get in and out. At night, the security guards also drive around the community to ensure that everything is peaceful.

The beaches are all a short 5-10-minute drive from the villa. There are no restaurants or shops within Les Terres Basses. The closest would be in Puerto Cupecoy Marina, where you will find a marina with watersport activities, restaurants, cafes, ice-cream, shops, and a supermarket for groceries. This is less than a ten-minute drive. The area of Maho is also close by – a fifteen-minute drive will lead you to this vibrant and busy area. It has a profusion of shops and restaurants from Caribbean food to takeout, Lebanese, Thai, and much more. It has great night life and
