Aptly named for its proximity to the naturally formed cove of turquoise water, Lagoon is a stylish villa, with a modern design, surrounded by landscaped gardens and stone walkways that give way to white sands and clear blue waters. Lagoon is inviting guests to stroll around and enjoy both inside and out of this splendid home.
To the rear, the stone paths open up to an expansive terrace, with plenty of space to spread out and explore what it has to offer; a swimming pool is framed by the terrace and lined with sun loungers, some beneath shade and others positioned to receive the most sun possible. A jacuzzi is the perfect spot to idle away the evening, and thanks to thoughtfully placed exterior lighting, the temptation to swim under the stars has never been harder to resist. All manner of seating can be found, from day beds to an outdoor lounge, as well as an outdoor dining area, should the desire arise to enjoy a Caribbean al fresco experience. Due to its position on the island, privacy and seclusion is guaranteed; the tranquillity of the villa is something to be savoured.
Inside, the interior is minimal and gives way to the fantastic seascapes that lie just beyond the glass; modern furniture further enhances the clean lines of the contemporary style and allows for a spacious feel. The ground floor accommodates a lounge, dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, office space and library, in a large open concept room; white walls lend it the bright and airy feel, complimented by the retractable glass letting in volumes of light. Entirely encouraging of indoor-outdoor living, the glass doors open out onto the terrace, so that no opportunity is lost to enjoy all that Lagoon has to offer.
The kitchen is fully equipped, containing all you need to accomplish any culinary challenge with state-of-the-art appliances; the services of a professional chef can be arranged to deliver a taste sensation, all within the comfort of the villa.
The first floor, which houses the three bedrooms of the villa, are furnished to create a serene and calm environment before bed, and all enjoy a wonderful view. Plush bedding and fresh linens ensure a restful night of sleep; all rooms enjoy palatial size beds.

Area description
Home to one of the oldest recorded civilizations in the world, Greece is a wonderland of history and myth; countless historic monuments are to be found all over the country, including the surrounding area that the villa resides in.
As part of the Halkidiki region, on the more northern side of Greece, the Sithonian peninsula has swathes of Mediterranean forests, that are hemmed in by endless stretches of sandy beaches, turquoise waters, rocky shores and bays that are sheltered on either side.
Diaporos Island, where Lagoon Villa is located, is the largest of nine islands that sit off the shore of the Sithonian Peninsula. The Blue Lagoon is a location not to be missed; the clearest of blue water, swimming, snorkeling and diving in this sheltered spot of shallow bay water is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced.
The region is ideal for regular trips to the beautiful coastline and soaking up the sun, but also makes for excellent hiking territory; Halkidiki’s central areas are full of walking trails, with mountainous terrain and numerous nature reserves. This rich diversity in wildlife and natural wonders have made the area popular with tourists and travelers with a penchant for adventure and exploration.
For watersports, Vourvourou is the place to be; kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, boat rentals and many more activities are to be found along several kilometres of coastline. Nightlife is also catered to, with numerous beach bars all the way along the coast of Vourvourou.
Further afield, and further north of the peninsula, Thessaloniki is the second largest city in Greece, and is the largest city of the northern regions, well worth a visit for the countless shops to indulge in retail therapy, to experience the vibrant night life, sample a vast array of cuisine, and explore a city that has existed for thousands of years.
