La Residenza

Welcome to La Residenza of Masseria Pettolecchia, your home in the heart of Puglia on the southeast coast of Italy. This luxury villa rental is located 5 minutes outside the town of Fasano and just minutes from the many fabulous beaches of the Adriatic Sea. The villa also has access to a Private Beach Club. La Residenza was built in 1800 by the Noble Palmieri and recently renovated and furnished with great care and precision. It now creates a warm and comfortable atmosphere within eight hectares of private land full of majestic olive and almond trees as well as an organic vegetable garden.

La Residenza is secluded in one of the most glamorous and attractive areas of Puglia where the olive trees are aged between 100 - 1000 years old and are individually tagged and protected.

When you walk through the doors you will immediately notice how open and spacious this house is. White walls and beige tiled floors are the themes running through it and there are many amazing paintings, sculptures, and Italian artifacts meticulously placed throughout. Crystal chandeliers hang from the ceiling in many of the rooms.

The living room area is divided into 2 sections with a large TV and very comfortable wraparound couches on one side and a more relaxed formal reading room on the other. The dining room is set up for 8 guests and that can easily become a 10 place setting depending on guest numbers. In between, you have an open-sided Casino room which gives some immense entertainment for friends and family.

Just off the dining room is a fully equipped kitchen with all modern appliances so any budding chef can cook up a feast or if you would like to hire a chef for a night or duration of your stay (which we can organize)- the choice is yours. I would advise having an In-house cooking class arranged for one of your nights. These classes are a highly entertaining way of spending an evening with family.

There are 5 suites on this property and the interesting thing about them is that they all come with a private entrance. All bedrooms are completed to a luxury finish; Italian paintings adorn the walls and all rooms have wonderful views of either the pool, garden, or Italian countryside. One of the rooms is located on the first floor and this comes with a magnificent sea view.

Outside is where you will be spending most of your days and evenings and at La Residenza, it is an extra special place. A large “L” shaped swimming pool is surrounded by thick cushioned sun loungers and umbrellas. Spend your days basking in the Mediterranean sunshine while sipping an ice-cold drink or read a book. Dining alfresco is a must and there are several areas at La Residenza to do so.

Our new Outdoor Gym is also now available on the grounds which includes the following equipment –

- Wellness rack

There are plenty of activities to do in the Puglia area and being so close to the beach is an added advantage. At Exceptional Villas, we can organize bike tours, Vespa tours, horseback riding, scuba diving, sailing, kiting, and windsurfing for your family and friends. We can also organize Spa Treatments in the villa or you or Yoga and Pilates with expert masters in our beautiful olive groves.
Bari International Airport is a 60km trip and it is a direct route to Fascano.

STAFF DUTIES
Maria
Executive housekeeper: she is responsible for the overall cleanliness and aesthetic upkeep of the villa. Her duties are: organize flower arrangements, organize, supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff on day- to day basis ensuring excellence in housekeeping sanitation, safety, comfort, and aesthetics for guests; she is responsible for the entire functioning of laundry and dry cleaning unit; arrange food stocking list and chef service

Annetta:
Housekeeper: responsible for linen change, performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing, ensuring all rooms, public areas, back of the house areas are clean, well maintained and cared for, and inspected according to high luxury standards; assistant chef

Gianni:
Headwaiter: prepare hot, cold, and mixed drinks, perform food preparation duties such as preparing salads, appetizers, and cold dishes, portioning desserts, and brewing coffee; supervises and coordinates activities of dining room personnel to serve food, monitoring dining area to ensure best customer experiences, providing guests with high-quality service.
Helping unloading luggage and transporting it into the guest's rooms.

Palma:
Butler, local concierge: check-in and check-out operations, ensuring that everything is in order prior to the guests' arrival (including maid service, flower arrangements, and technical facilities), explains features of rooms, such as radio, television, and night-lock, reviewing the guest list to check special requirements, welcoming customers acting as the point of reference for guests who need assistance or information, understanding customer’s needs and providing them information about local features such as shopping, dining, nightlife, and recreational destinations also with personalized solutions by suggesting activities and facilities provided by the villa; to facilitate the provision of extra services to guests; supervising household staff, light household duties
