Killadangan House Westport

Located on the coast road to Louisburgh and just 5km from Westport town, Killadangan House is a haven for those looking for a relaxing luxury retreat on the Wild Atlantic Way in Mayo.

This is a large and impressive property offering wonderful views over Clew Bay. There are five bedrooms in all so up to 10 guests can be accommodated. This is a two storey house. The entrance is located on the first floor and is accessed by a set of imposing limestone steps. These lead you to the front door inside which a long light flooded reception hall greets you. The drawing room and main dining room are situated on the right of the hall and offer panoramic views over Clew Bay. Left of the hall is a warm and cosy sitting room with stove (known as The Parlour), along with a smaller dining room and the main kitchen.

A small flight of stairs leads downs to the first of the bedrooms known as the Connaught Room. This room has a double bed in it and has access to a shower room and a guest WC on the same level.

The ground floor is home to the reminder of the bedrooms:
The Ulster Room witha king size bed
The Munster Room with twin beds
The Leinster Room with twin beds
The Garden Room which is a large twin bedroom

These bedrooms all have access to the main bathroom with shower.

The main room on the ground floor is "The Old Kitchen" with a huge traditional open fireplace. This room can be used for lectures, therapies and other group activities.

A spacious sauna house completes the property. There is an additional shower in this room.

We offer free wifi to our guests and pets will be considered on a request basis (please enquire at time of booking). Please note that there is NO TELEVISION in this property.

ADDITIONAL CHARGE
A security deposit of €200 euro will be required at check in to cover potential damages and loss of the gate zapper. This will be refunded to you on the day after your departure once the owners have had time to inspect the property in full.

Bed linen, towels , shower robes and logs for the fire are included in your rental price.

Public transport
Westport is serviced by both Irish Rail and Bus Eireann. Services run 7 days a week, with Irish Rail links and Bus Eireann routes running to many locations throughout Ireland throughout the day.
