Based in a private gated community the villa boasts an abundance of seclusion and tranquility. Featuring its own private beach and tropical gardens that surround the villa, you will never need nor want to venture far from this serene paradise. The gated estate includes the main 6-bedroom villa and an additional 2-bedroom guest cottage on the property. Indulge in this relaxed setting as the lush sixteen-foot tall palm privacy hedge surrounds the property. Walk down onto your private cove and indulge in a fresh saltwater swim. The waters are calm and safe, perfect for some exciting watersport activities. The villa supplies you with your own kayaks so you can explore the crystallized turquoise waters as you wish. Make use of the complimentary snorkeling gear also and delve into the mild waters to see the tropical fish swimming below.

You can always return to the seclusion of your private terrace after spending the morning on the sun-soaked shoreline. Wash the sand from between your toes under the outdoor shower and lounge out on the plush sunbeds and loungers. As you unwind under the sun’s rays, you can sip on an ice-cold drink and pop up the parasol to cast some soothing shade. If it gets too warm you can always plunge into the silky waters of the swimming pool. In the winter months, you can also swim in the pool at any time as it has optional heating. Dine alfresco under the stars in the evenings or relax in the jacuzzi after a night out in Rum Points beach club restaurant. Each night you can fall asleep to the gentle lull of the ocean and the gentle Caribbean breezes floating through your room.

The villa itself is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, tinged with sweet-scented flowers and tall swaying palms. The manicured lawn and exterior lighting systems set a luxurious scene for you to indulge in. Making your way through the villa's main entrance you will be greeted by a light and airy atmosphere. The entrance leads to the main living areas of the great room. The living, dining, and kitchen are blended harmoniously into one space here and open out onto the terrace creating a seamless transition from the interior to the exterior. The living area features sweeping views across the Caribbean Sea and of the private cove. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and complete with gourmet appliances. The kitchen overlooks the dining area, seating a total of ten guests. The sunken living area is perched adjacent to the table. The villa includes key features such as the home audio system that runs throughout the villa, a home security system with exterior cameras, and a gated driveway. The ground floor includes a separate laundry room that holds a double washer and dryer as well as an overflow fridge.

Kaiku features a total of six luxurious bedrooms. These bedrooms are based in the main villa and are designed using an open-concept layout with high vaulted ceilings and expansive windows, flooding the room with natural light. The rooms are pristine and simplistic with tasteful furnishings and vibrant-colored walls laced with artwork. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor. The second floor holds four more bedrooms with two on each wing.

LOCATION DETAILS
Kaiku is located on the exclusive coastline of Rum Point in the Grand Cayman Islands. The coastal property is based in a gated community in the sought-after location of Cayman Kai, on the northern part of the island, and is only moments away from the famous Starfish Point. The entire island is only 22 miles wide from west to east, so you are never too far from anywhere on Grand Cayman. The cove-front homes in Cayman Kai offer calm serene water for docking a rental boat, permitting charter boat pick-up, or just safe shallow swimming for little children. Adults won’t swim in the cove as nearby Rum Point is too nice by comparison--the water is shallow with a softer bottom and no reef for marine life.

You get the best of both worlds at Kaiku: a private backyard pool with a spa, boat dock access, plus proximity to the Rum Point Club. There is usually little breeze here to speak of--many homes in Cayman Kai offer a screened porch to keep flying bugs and insects at bay. The big draw to this area is the proximity to the Rum Point Club, a public beach club that offers a fantastic barefoot beach, water sports, a restaurant bar, grill, a gift shop, and pick-up beach volleyball games. Also nearby is the Kaibo Yacht Club restaurant, bar, and marina. Overall, the area is a great neighborhood dotted with million-dollar oceanfront villas.

Lastly, about 20 minutes east we have 2 large resorts (Morritt's and The Reef) that offer manicured beaches as well as restaurants, a modern grocery store, a liquor store, gift shops, a Subway sandwich shop, and the Italian Kitchen restaurant. These two resorts also offer scuba, snorkel trips, jet skis, windsurfing, kiteboarding, oceanfront pools, and bar service.

General Grand Cayman Beach Notes: All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Crown owns up to the high water mark. The shoreline quality behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website due to shifting tides and weather patterns. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.

Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed: Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally. Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency over the years during the summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival. We try our best to work around mother nature.
