This two-story villa has all the aspects of a traditional Italian villa that you would come to expect and more. Wooden doors, iron gates, and fixtures, whitewash walls, terracotta tiles and beautiful Persian shutters are in keeping with both Tuscan style and laws; its structure and style has a grandeur that only a country estate centuries-old enjoys, and in its restored state, exemplifies what such a villa would look like in its heyday. A maximum capacity of eighteen guests makes Isimora an excellent spot to enjoy an Italian getaway with large groups, with ample space inside and out for everyone to enjoy. An expansive garden with a large swimming pool and several areas to wine, dine and unwind, the garden is hemmed by a tall stone wall, to ensure privacy and security for guests. Being part of a private estate, the surrounding lands are planted with large mature trees that provide leafy shade wherever you roam on the grounds of the villa. Sun loungers and parasols are in plentiful supply next to the pool, so once you finish with your swim in the refreshingly cool waters, lay out in the lounger to dry off and bask in the rays of the sun.
Inside, the traditionally decorated rooms of the villa boast spacious living quarters, family heirlooms and Baroque paintings adorning several areas of the house. Modern comforts are not excluded from the décor of the villa, however; several lounge areas filled with plush and comfortable couches to sink into bedeck these rooms, with ample seating for everyone. Ornate fireplaces found throughout the villa are both stylish and functional; any of these are ideal to gather around, a crackling fire in the hearth and enjoying the heat of the flames and each other’s company in comfort. The salon enjoys the largest hearth in the villa, and the room is lit by a beautiful chandelier overhead. Should you wish to enjoy some downtime in the pages of a book, the library is well stocked with books for readers of any genre to enjoy, and a cozy hearth to sit next to. Guests with a penchant for TV programming will find a suitably equipped lounge area with a widescreen TV to put their feet up and take a breather.
A fully equipped kitchen has been installed with top-of-the-line appliances, suitable for the most discerning chef, and from here, the villa staff will serve both the breakfast and dining rooms. The dining room sits adjacent to the salon, a long dining table with seating for twelve atop a Persian rug, gorgeous paintings adorning the walls. A large dresser sits at the top of the room, traditionally used to hold the silverware of the house that would be used to carry the food to the table. Tall candelabras and soft lighting installations contribute to a warm, relaxed ambiance, an encouragement to sit and savor your meal. The breakfast room features an open hearth with a red brick surround, and wood paneling on the walls, while a long table with cushioned benches is laid out with mouth-watering food each morning.
Luxury doesn’t stop at the bedroom door; palatial beds and bedding outfit each room in the villa, so that all may sink into the sheets at the end of a hectic day and sleep in absolute comfort. Antique furniture, pristinely maintained, occupy each room, but are for the use of the guests to store their belongings. Spacious throughout, all rooms are afforded their own en-suite or private bathroom.

LOCATION DETAILS
An enclosed property on a private estate, complete privacy is afforded to guests of the villa. The property, while private and secluded, is a short distance from Matassino, the closest town to the villa. With ample shops to frequent for necessities and requirements, restaurants and bars are also ready to serve authentic Italian cuisine, as guests explore what delights the Tuscan countryside has to offer.
For lovers of art and history, Tuscan countryside is steeped in history - Florence, the seat of the famous Medici family, lies to the north of the villa, and is the reputed heart of the Renaissance. The most populated city in Tuscany, Florence has a long history stretching back to Roman times, with architectural and artistic wonders on display in its many basilicas, churches, museums and castles.
Wine connoisseurs and enthusiasts will be pleased to learn that the villa lies within a rather large and famous wine-producing region of Italy, the Chianti region. Several wineries are to be found throughout, several to be found in Gaiole, a medieval village that served as an important trading post in eras gone by. Locally produced wines with a vast variety of flavours and tastes are waiting to be sampled and are sure to tickle the palate.
Further afield, the often overlooked but no less beautiful city of Pistoia is to the north west of Florence, and contains many more important historical landmarks, as well as an ample supply of shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs to sample on your exploration into Italian culture.
