Welcome to Hesperides House, an expansive 5-bedroom waterfront villa, that perches just above the water’s edge on the cliffs that line the southern Turks & Caicos coastline.

With a name as rooted in myth as Hesperides, the nymphs who were known as the Daughters of Evening and guarded Greece’s answer to the garden of Eden, it is an aptly chosen name; Hesperides House faces to the west, primed for breathtaking sunsets every evening, and is amply supplied with everything needed to enjoy it. Designed to capture as large a panorama as possible, the villa offers a viewing platform that extends beyond the terrace, sitting at the edge at the end of the boardwalk – from there, it’s impossible not to marvel at the display. The terrace itself, framing a large infinity-edge swimming pool, is bedecked with all manner of comfortable options to soak up the sun. Arrange a casual al fresco get-together with the help of the barbeque and a shaded dining area outside or keeping the cooling air at bay and surround the fire pit, as the last of the fading light paints vibrant colours across the skies.

Indoors, a modern and stylish approach to the décor and furnishings maintains a minimal but elegant aesthetic, a blend of both natural wood finishes and contemporary design. The vaulted ceiling expands the spacious rooms even further, the great room being the prime example; hosting the lounge, dining area and kitchen, natural light floods the area at various points, most notably the terrace doors, creating a light and airy atmosphere for leisure or for mealtimes. The lounge is spacious and carves out ample space in the great room to host everyone comfortably. The large couch faces a widescreen TV on the wall, offering the opportunity to sit and take some time to unwind whenever you choose. A wonderfully crafted live edge wooden dining table has seating for ten, the fixtures above casting a warm and welcoming glow.

Adjacent to the dining table, the kitchen, with an elongated breakfast bar and extra seating, contains state-of-the-art appliances in which to serve up a sumptuous meal in record time; in the hands of a professional chef, appetizing Caribbean cuisine is on hand without the effort, all in the comfort of your own villa. Alternatively, take your plate to the terrace to enjoy an unforgettable meal with the ocean as your backdrop.

LOCATION DETAILS
With the Chalk Sound lagoon at its back and facing the endless expanse of ocean, Hesperides House lies to the south of Providenciales, a more secluded side of the island. Residing away from the hustle and bustle of the usual tourist routes, Hesperides House enjoys peace and privacy that is seldom matched anywhere else on the island. The Chalk Sound is a naturally formed lagoon, shallow in-depth and a beautiful turquoise colour – the calm waters make it the perfect spot to bring a kayak or paddleboard onto the water and marvel at the tranquillity that it brings. To the south, the seemingly endless expanse of ocean stretches for miles, an uninterrupted panorama. It is best enjoyed by accessing one of the many beaches that stretch along Provo’s coast, the closest being Taylor Bay Beach.

Grace Bay, the island capital, is just over 19km away and has some of the best shops and restaurants on offer throughout the Caribbean. Grace Bay Beach is also high on the list of the best beaches in the world. Blue Haven Marina is the place to be for watersports and hosts a wide variety to choose from; guests can charter boats, go scuba-diving, fishing and take eco tours of the barrier reef.
