Welcome to Terraces 901, a 5-bedroom chalet which is a skier's paradise and is one of our more popular vacation rentals in Colorado ! What makes this such a great villa is that its location is slopeside just a short walk away from Lift #1 and #10. This stunning home is perfect for friends and family to come and spend time with each other. Not only is the skiing amazing in the Winter but Telluride is a great spot in the summer also. In addition to the stellar location, and great amenities the property also has a custom humidifier system and Nest thermostats. Not to mention a built-in speaker system and cable tv.

Guests start off by entering the home on the lower level and it's soon apparent why this is a large area. It’s the perfect place for your skies, boots and other equipment.

The great room is on the upstairs level and comes with dark vaulted ceilings and amazing vista views for the large windows. This living room has a cosy gas fireplace that looks like a relic of older days in Telluride. The large comfy 2 piece couch gives guests stunning views of the ski slopes while snuggled up next to the fire. There are ottomans for additional seating, as well as games for the family to enjoy. Just off of the living room is an amazing deck with a propane grill, small fire pit and seating area. It's a great spot to watch skiers rumble by!

Terraces 901 is all about open plan living on different levels. The living room is open to the dining room, which has a stylish dining table that seats up to eight guests at one time. In the corner, there is a bar with custom glassware which is a lovely addition to the area. As the house has room for 10 guests, you will find seating for two more guests at the breakfast bar. The kitchen finishes off the living space, complete with stainless steel appliances and a gas stove. Additional appliances include a crockpot, rice cooker and Keurig.

There are two bedrooms on the main floor. The master bedroom has impressive vaulted ceilings, which emphasize the large windows and a great view of the ski slopes. The master features a king Sleep Number bed, a flatscreen TV, seating area and ensuite bathroom. The bathroom has a double vanity with quartzite counters, a jetted soaking tub and a steam shower. The second bedroom on this level has a twin daybed with a trundle pull out. A bathroom in the hallway has a step-in shower and single vanity.

Up the spiral stairs are the loft; a great place for kids to hang out! This bunk area is completely custom, with private TVs for each bunk, lighting systems, blackout curtains, USB chargers and more! There are two bunks: one twin set and one captain's bunk. The best part? No ladder needed! These bunks are accessible by a staircase, which has plenty of storage, too. There is also a small table with games and books for the family to enjoy.

There are three bedrooms on the lower level; the first is a second master with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, a Serta king bed, flatscreen TV and ensuite bathroom. The bathroom has a double vanity, quartzite countertops, a jetted soaking tub, step-in steam shower and large walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a queen bed, flatscreen TV and a sliding glass door to ski access. The third bedroom has a queen bed and flatscreen TV. These two bedrooms share a bathroom, which is accessible from the hallway. The bathroom has a double vanity with quartzite counters and a step-in shower. There is a full-size washer and dryer in the hallway.

There is one parking spot available in a private garage located nearby, and two additional parking passes available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Location
Telluride is a former Victorian mining town located in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, is set in a box canyon amid forested peaks at the base of a popular ski-and-golf resort. There are so many things to do in Telluride for all the family in both Winter and Summer.
Of course, there is the World-Class Ski Resort, the reason many guests come to Telluride in the first place. Hundreds of acres of terrain, perfect for the beginner to the accomplished backcountry skier. But skiing and snowboarding just scratch the surface of what Telluride has to offer 365 days a year. During Winter, there is Nordic Skiing, Snowshoeing, Snowmobiling, Ice Skating and Biking. Kids will enjoy sleigh rides and dog sledging in Winter.

Once Summer arrives you can enjoy endless hiking, camping, fishing, running, biking or golf plus much more. Telluride is a year-round destination.

How to get here
The Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) is the primary airport for Telluride, and is a scenic 65 miles away. During the winter months, guests can take advantage of nonstop flights from 11 major hubs, and summer offers nonstop service from 5 major U.S. cities. Several transportation companies provide service from Telluride to Montrose. Rental cars are also available at the Montrose Airport, but we recommend the ground transportation option as once you arrive in Telluride a car is unnecessary.

New jet service to the Telluride Regional Airport (TEX) is now available on Denver Air Connection. Denver Air Connection partners with United Airlines, which enables travellers to book and connect through the global United network. The Telluride Airport is also open to general aviation, including charter and private planes.
