This newly built 3-bedroom villa with a private pool has glorious views of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding lush jungle scene. This modern property is situated in a gated community close to the unspoiled village of Ojochal. The villa’s prime location in the foothills of the dramatic mountains that sweep toward the ocean makes Hacienda Jaguar one of the most picturesque villas in this region.

The open-plan living room enjoys unimpeded views and opens outwards to a tiled and natural stone paved terrace. The amazing gardens, with the pool in the center, are the result of 6 years of dedication by the villa’s owners. Tropical flowering plants and shrubs fringe impeccable lawns, adding a refined frame to this lovely villa.

There is 3,000 sqft of living space spread over a couple of levels. The ground floor is a wonderfully appointed space with the open concept living room and kitchen blending seamlessly with an outside, shaded terrace with a barbecue grill, sink and service area, and dining table. If you are tasked with meal prep, you’ll love that you are never far away from the poolside action. More formal meals can be constructed in the fully-equipped kitchen, or you can enjoy casual barbecue dining by the pool. At night, the glass walls can close to provide a cozy evening. Dining on fresh local produce by your pool, illuminated by the sinking sun, is a sensational experience.

The sights and sounds of the jungle, so much a part of any Costa Rican vacation, are your daily symphony. Brightly colored tropical birds and butterflies visit the gardens and are thrilling sights as you lounge by your pool.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
A one-time cleaning fee of $100 per stay is applicable to all bookings for final cleaning. For stays of 7 days or longer, a fresh set of linens and towels will be provided once a week. Daily housekeeping services can be arranged at an extra cost.

LOCATION
The southern zone of Costa Rica is celebrated for its natural beauty. Vast stretches of unspoiled beaches are rarely crowded. A short drive will take you to Playa Ventanas or the hidden gem of Playa Arco. Small villages dot the Pacific coastline, and you will find several restaurants within an easy drive. Local ingredients like fresh fish are a big feature on most menus. Take a trip northwards from your villa home to explore the Marino Balena nature reserve. Famous for its whale-tail peninsula, this is one of the most famous natural landmarks in the world. The nearby town of Uvita has many restaurant choices inspired by international cuisines – Mexican and Asian being the two most popular. This town is also the perfect place to join a whale-watching tour. Costa Rica has rigid rules around protecting nature and making good environmental decisions.
