Welcome to Gypsy! This beautiful oceanfront villa has been professionally decorated and includes a private pool with elevated views and close proximity to the famous Rum Point Club. Decorated in an elegant Caribbean theme of beach cremes and soft hues, Gypsy is a luxurious island getaway. From the moment you enter this home's foyer, your eyes are drawn past the beautifully tiled floors and out through the tall glass doors to the pool area and the Caribbean Sea in the background.

With over 4,000 sq ft of living space and another 3,000 sq ft of outdoor space, Gypsy can accommodate 10 guests across 4 bedroom suites. The oceanfront master suite has a four-poster king bed with a walk-in closet, a private ensuite bath with double vanity, a large tub, and a separate walk-in shower. The southwest master suite features vaulted ceilings with a king sleigh bed and an ensuite bath with a stand-alone shower. One room over is the queen suite with an ensuite bath, single vanity, and combination tub and shower. The southeast guest bedroom also features vaulted ceilings and comes furnished with two queen beds and a shared bathroom with a double vanity and a walk-in shower.

Views from Gypsy's living areas are quite simply astounding. High ceilings, airy interiors, and tall French doors flood Gypsy’s interiors with sunlight all year round. Comfortable sofas and elegant sectionals provide ample seating for guests to relax while taking in the views from the living room or family room. The grand piano in the family room can be unlocked should you wish to play while on vacation. Alternatively, we can cover the piano if you do not plan on using it or are concerned about potential damage to it.

Gypsy's gourmet kitchen has modern appliances, including a double oven, built-in subzero refrigerator, Keurig coffeemaker, lots of counter space, and a dining table with seating for 10. A propane grill is available off the pool deck for island cookouts.

The backyard pool and patio sit perched above the beach, providing privacy for any beachgoers walking by—a rarity in this residential area. Stairs off the pool deck lead down to a deep sandy beach perfect for sunbathing. Guests can use the folding beach chairs stored in the pool shed. Large hedges and grassy lawns separate neighboring lots and provide privacy during your stay.

Finally, Gypsy's homeowner has a 42' yacht-certified luxury Formula boat that he offers at a special discount exclusively to villa guests. Guests save 10% on a half-day captained charter with a maximum of 10 guests. For more details, please visit ChartersoftheSea.com.

BEACH NOTES:
The entire island is only 22 miles wide from west to east, so you are never too far from anywhere on Grand Cayman. The oceanfront homes in Rum Point offer great reef-protected snorkeling. The beaches usually have plenty of white sand but can also have rocky “Ironshore” spots with natural rock formations. The closer you get to Rum Point, the sandier the beach and the swimming. Either way, with our abundant marine life in the water, you will want to wear pool shoes or fins for foot protection. The prevailing trade winds from the east also make flying insects less of a nuisance—many of the homes in Rum Point don’t even need a screened porch.

Gypsy has a very sandy water entrance for swimming. However, guests will want to wear foot protection just to be safe. We do get tidal seagrasses on the beach. While the owner pays a landscaper to rake the beach monthly, we have a weekly service that will rake a clear path into the water for snorkeling, kayaking, and swimming.

The big draw to this area is the proximity to the Rum Point Club, a public beach club that offers a fantastic barefoot beach, many water sports, a restaurant bar and grill, a gift shop, and pick-up beach volleyball games. Also nearby is the Kaibo Yacht Club restaurant, bar, and marina

Lastly, we have 2 large resorts in the east end (Morritt's and The Reef) that offer manicured beaches, restaurants, a modern grocery store, a liquor store, gift shops, a Subway sandwich shop, and a cafe/pastry shop. These two resorts also offer scuba, snorkel trips, jet skis, windsurfing, kiteboarding, oceanfront pools, and bar service.
