I really enjoyed my stay at Golden Pavilion. The swimming pool is amazing as it looks out over the beautiful Caribbean Ocean and you can see all the way over to Guana Island. This is a very comfortable villa with spacious bedrooms. You will really feel at home here. Make sure to have mosquito repellent as this can be a minor issue here. The master bedroom has a large 2 person Jacuzzi and also a large outdoor shower.
Welcome to our luxury 4 bedroom Caribbean Villa, Golden Pavilion, located on the scenic island of Tortola. Privately situated on four gated acres, this 5,000 square foot, Balinese-inspired villa has four bedrooms and four and a half baths. The property features stunning 180 degree ocean views, heated infinity pool, hot tub, outdoor gas fire pit, second floor gallery with wet bar and pool table, media room with large flat screen TV and surround sound, office with fax/pc/wireless internet, a fully equipped gym, air conditioning in all primary rooms and a private chef. All bedrooms are elegantly appointed with imported four poster beds, exotic fabrics and heavy black out draperies. Spa services are also available and boating and other outings can be arranged for your additional enjoyment.
Bedrooms
The villas bedroom suites are all self-contained and include private baths with dual vanities, showers, walk in closets with safes, air-conditioning and fans. Each luxury bedroom includes beautiful French doors which bring you out onto the exterior decking, offering amazing views of the beautiful Caribbean. The oversized master bathroom is equipped with a Jacuzzi tub and private outdoor shower with dual heads and each room offering a colourful interior. There are King beds in the master bedroom and 2 of the other bedrooms and a Queen bed in 4th bedroom. This beautiful villa features high quality orthopaedic and allergenic mattresses with removable covers. Also there are 2 rollaway beds and 2 cribs available upon request making Golden Pavilion an ideal destination for your family holiday.
Outdoor Features
The showpiece and one of the defining features of Golden Pavilion Villa is the heated infinity pool. Majestically centered on the ocean facing deck, with views east, north and west, the 20x40’ pool will be your daily focus. Overlooking the pool and the views beyond is the 16’ carved Balinese dining table with seating for 10. Additional cocktail seating for 8 is available poolside for breakfast, afternoon tea or after dinner drinks. Additional children’s seating is available indoors meaning all family members are extremely well catered for.
The entry courtyard is one of the villas unique elements. Covered with Jerusalem Gold stone and lined with imported Balinese footlights and statues, the courtyard is monitored by a hand carved, 1000lb stone Buddha who ensures perfect Karma for all that enter. The elevated entry pavilion with carved seating and comfortable cushions is trimmed on three sides by the lily and frog pond. Gentle coloured lights bathe imported statues and stone wall interiors at night. The courtyard is not just a pass through to the house, it is a destination and wonderful place to read and relax after a day of fun-filled activities on Tortola.
Getting There
Tortola is the largest of the British Virgin Islands and is situated just north-east of St. Thomas and St. John, USVI. The local airport at Beef Island can be reached by regularly scheduled flights on American Eagle connecting through San Juan, Puerto Rico. Private group and individual charters are available through connection in St. Thomas and most other Caribbean airports. Tortola may also be reached via ferry service from neighbouring islands. Private non-stop jet travel from most locations can be arranged upon request.
Guests will be greeted at the airport or ferry dock by the house manager who will arrange for baggage transfers and rental cars. A sturdy 4-wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended due to the unpaved access road. Additional transfer capacity is available in GPV’s 9 seat Land Rover Defender station wagon. Greetings and an introductory tour will be accompanied by a welcome drink and snack.

Little Bay is truly one of ‘Nature’s Little Secrets’. Only the most adventurous visitors ever find their way to Little Bay, but those that do are richly rewarded for their efforts. If you visit you’ll probably have the whole beach to yourself as few people ever find this spot. There is a huge wide sandy beach, great for playing games, and the swimming and snorkelling here is extremely good too. The best thing about Little Bay though is the feeling of escape you get from being on your own private Caribbean beach.
Little Bay is to the east of Lambert and is a small gem of a beach. The road is unpaved and rough and requires a four-wheel drive vehicle. There are large boulders at the western end, and it is fringed with seagrapes at its eastern perimeter. The beach is wide most of the year, but is only recommended for swimming in the summer months, since it is often too rough in the winter.
