Gold Mine Lodge is a very spacious 3-level mountain home offering a jaw-dropping 7,721 feet of living space and with stunning views of the ski slope and valley from almost every room. The property can accommodate up to 16 guests comfortably and with such an abundance of space, there are plenty of areas throughout where your guests can retreat for private time.

The moment you walk into Gold Mine Lodge, your attention will be drawn to the magnificent central wood-burning fireplace with a soaring natural stone chimney breast and hearth. This welcoming fireplace is at the heart of the Great Room, separating the living room area, dining room and magnificent gourmet kitchen. Much of the timbers used in creating this unique home came from an Oregon gold mine.

The living room area is furnished with a comfortable oversized couch and large armchairs together with antique wooden tables, wooden floors and a woven rug. High wooden ceiling beams and large windows maximise the deluge of natural light which flows through the entire room. Here is a heavenly space where your guests can watch TV and relax around the roaring fire perhaps discussing the adventures of the day before dinner, or maybe play a board game while enjoying a glass of wine.

The impressive gourmet kitchen is an aspiring cooks’ dream, with the additional bonus of having fabulous views of the ski mountain, visible from every window. Top-of-the-range appliances are at hand and there are ample granite countertops for food preparation. The breakfast bar provides seating for 5, where your guests can enjoy a morning coffee or perhaps sip a cocktail while watching the cook at work and play in this delightful kitchen. There is additional seating at a strategically placed window seat where you can admire the mountain sunsets or watch skiers in full flight down the mountain slope. The adjoining dining space features a beautiful natural wooden table with elegant seating for 10 guests.

Gold Mine Lodge has many areas where your guests can retreat for some quiet time, or indeed gather together for entertainment and fun. The upper level features a private office with a gas fireplace where your guests can read in peace or catch up on emails. A media room occupies the lower level of the house, complete with a huge flat screen TV, fireplace, a table for playing cards or games and a splendid rustic bar. A mention must also be given to the quirky lower level powder room which has been amusingly shaped around a facility from a Wild West Gold Mine or Saloon. For those who like to keep fit away from the slopes, a private gym features excellent fitness equipment. You can also relax and rejuvenate your tired muscles in the outdoor hot tub or indoor sauna.

All 6 en suite bedrooms at Gold Mine Lodge offer superb spacious comfort. The beautiful master bedroom is located on the main level of the house and features a gas fireplace, seating area, private balcony and en suite bathroom with bath tub and spacious walk-in shower.

Children of all ages will love the large lower level bunk room which contains three sets of twin bunk beds. The lower level also features a king bedroom with spectacular views of Mount Werner and the Thunderhead Ski lift. The upper level, along with the master bedroom, has three additional spacious bedrooms with queen size beds and gas fireplaces. One has a private balcony.

Gold Mine Lodge also provides a spacious custom ski room with ample storage space for skis and snowboards together with boot dryers and work benches, allowing you to keep everything in supreme condition.
Gold Mine Lodge is more than just a luxurious rental property. No expense has been spared in creating this unique mountain home, providing the highest levels of comfort possible and an overall authentic experience for your group of extended family or friends. For added convenience, you can avail of an on-call shuttle service which will pick you up from the front door of the chalet and bring you downtown and to the lower mountain area, therefore eliminating the necessity of a rental car during winter season.
