Welcome to Falconhead Lodge - South by Exceptional Villas, a majestic 5-bedroomed luxurious Duplex offering a commanding position with spectacular views overlooking the Yampa Valley and Steamboat ski base area in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

This magnificent property can accommodate up to 16 guests very comfortably and is the perfect choice for extended groups of family or friends wishing to experience a fabulous mountain getaway at any time of the year. If you have a larger group, you can also include rental of Falconhead Grande Lodge increasing your guest capacity to 32.

Falconhead Lodge – South is conveniently equipped with an elevator to connect both residences, or you may prefer to use the impressive timber and steel open staircase which descends along four floors beside the huge cathedral style window, providing magnificent views. The property occupies an impressive 7,164 square feet allowing for plenty living spaces over all floors. Dark wood, subtle earthy tones and rustic décor gives the entire property an authentic mountain aura, yet enveloped in luxury.

Entry to the home is accessed from the top level of the building complete with heated garage providing built-in lockers for storing snow boots and coats. The next level down (main level) contains the Great Room, encompassing living room, fully equipped gourmet kitchen and dining area. This space features vaulted ceilings, rustic plank wooden flooring and a beautiful over-sized stone fireplace and hearth. The fireplace is surrounded by leather couches with magnificent views through the oversized windows. It’s a wonderful spot to gather with your guests to watch TV on a large screen, or simply enjoy each other’s company discussing the adventures of the day. The Great Room also provides direct access to the outer covered balcony area where you can partake of the fresh mountain air.

The impressive gourmet kitchen features a large island with seating for 4, where your guests can enjoy watching the cook at work. Professional appliances and dark wood cabinets provide a superb backdrop for preparing wonderful family meals.

The elegant dining area provides seating for 12 at a grand dining table with spectacular mountain views while you dine.

Falconhead Lodge - South also has an additional kitchen, dining and living area downstairs, equally as impressive as those in the main Great Room.

The lower level of the property features a fabulous recreation area with private bar, where your guests can enjoy watching a game on the big screen TV or perhaps test their skills on the pool table. A refrigerator, dishwasher and wine fridge are all to hand in the bar area and from here you also have direct access to an outdoor covered deck complete with hot tub.

The plush Master Bedroom, located on the main level, features a gas fireplace and private covered balcony. A second master suite boasts fabulous valley and mountain views. The third master suite and queen suite both feature private en-suite bathrooms. The bunk room on the middle level of the property converts to 2 smaller bedrooms, providing great flexibility with sleeping arrangements particularly for children.

Winter guests can avail of the on-call shuttle service which will pick you up and bring you to ski area or to downtown Steamboat for restaurants and shopping.
