For the more energetic, there is an abundance of water sports available on the beach on the nearby Mullins Beach.

There is a good selection of beach bars and restaurants also close by in Mullins Bay and Speightstown is just a few minutes drive from Emerald Beach where there is a good selection of shops including a supermarket, bakery, and bank. Golfing is available in nearby Westmoreland and Holetown is also just a 15-minute drive away where you will find some really good local and designer shopping.
