This villa has to be one of the nicest in St Barths.
This villa has to be one of the nicest in St Barths. What I love most is the incredible views over St Jean Bay from the pool and living area. The villa is cleverly designed and offers the most breath-taking views. Ideal location - half way between St Jean and Lorient. There is a steep entrance to the villa and its narrow so I would recommend a small 4WD Jeep. The only negative thing I would say about this villa is that it is very close to the road and you can hear the road noise from the outside terrace. However once the doors are closed and you are inside you can't hear a thing and when you leave the terrace doors open you can play some nice music so you wont hear the cars.

Welcome to Villa Ellena, a stunning and truly magical St Barths Villa rental. This luxury 3 bedroom villa is located midway between St. Jean and the village of Lorient and offers panoramic views over the turquoise St Jean Bay.
Designed by an owner/architect with a deep love and understanding of St. Barth, this home is made for the enjoyment of all the island’s qualities: gentle sea breezes and stunning sunsets, convenient shopping and even more tempting beaches all just minutes away.
St Jean beach is the closest to the villa. St- Jean is one of the most popular and most chic beaches in St Barths. It actually comprises of two beaches divided in the middle by the famous and stunning Eden Rock Hotel. St Jean is also home to Nikki beach. It is a spectacular beach with pure white sands and calm turquoise waters which are perfect for snorkelling.
Saint Jean is second in size to the Capital of Gustavia and is also the only other sizable town in St Barths. St Jean sits on the Island’s North Shore on Baie de St-Jean just over the hill from Gustavia. The small airport of St Barths lies at one end of St Jean and it is always fascinating to watch the tiny planes coming into land over a steep hill and down onto the second shortest runway in the world. As well as the beautiful Eden Rock Hotel, there are several other nice restaurants and bars along St Jean Beach. Behind the beach, just a couple of minutes walk the Eden Rock is the small town where there are two rows of very chic shops and some restaurants and bars.
This magnificent 3 bedroom St Barths villa is beautifully furnished in a modern white tone and is decorated in shades of white, with stone and hardwood floors and accents of turquoise tiles.
Every room in Ellena opens out to admire the terrific ocean views. The terrace features large deck area and infinity pools which are bathed in sunlight throughout the day.
Thoughtful touches in the decor are are sure sign of caring about a guest’s experience, and Ella’s owner has filled the villa with selections from the design workshops of Christian Liaigre, John Hutton for Sutherland, and Royal Botania. The three full bathrooms boast Bisazza tiles and fittings by Anne Sacks and Vola. The kitchen is made exceptional by a Florentine stone floor, top-quality appliances from Miele and SubZero, and French dishes, flatware and table linens.
The villa comes with 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom offers the special comfort of two full bathrooms, one with an outdoor shower, as well as an adjoining library and media room with a 42-inch HDTV.
The second and third bedrooms are nearly master suites in their own right, with similar amenities and their own private ensuite bathrooms.

Lorient beach is also very close by. Lorient beach is also popular with families. It is a reef protected spot and great for swimming and snorkelling. In the winter, it provides some shade. To the left of the beach is a great surfing spot. It is fun to sometimes watch the hard core surfers catching a wave.

Great Villa
We have been travelling to St Barth for many years and have tried lots of different villas. Ellena is our favourite so far. We loved the location between St Jean and Lorient Beaches. Our two favourite beaches on the Island. Ellena has a fabulous view over St Jean. The infinity pool and outdoor areas are spectacular. We honestly could not have been happier.
