LOCATION:
Ocho Rios, which is located 54 miles north of Kingston, is built around a wide bay with a sweeping arc of the hotel-lined beach. It is well geared to meet the cruise passengers who are often present. The chief attraction is Island Village which is located at the far west end of Main Street.

It is a slick collection of shops, restaurants, and bars with a private beach and a great museum called the Reggae Xplosion which is dedicated completely to Reggae – Jamaica’s best-known export. The museum even includes a nightclub where guides demonstrate the latest moves. There are lots of wonderful things to do in and around Ocho Rios.

Jamaica is one of the most popular destinations in the Caribbean and is the birthplace of the famous reggae singer Bob Marley and one of the fastest men on earth, Usain Bolt.
