LOCATION: Ocho Rios, which is located 54 miles north of Kingston, is built around a wide bay with a sweeping arc of the hotel-lined beach. It is well geared to meet the cruise passengers who are often present. The chief attraction is Island Village which is located at the far west end of Main Street.
It is a slick collection of shops, restaurants, and bars with a private beach and a great museum called the Reggae Xplosion which is dedicated completely to Reggae – Jamaica’s best-known export. The museum even includes a nightclub where guides demonstrate the latest moves. There are lots of wonderful things to do in and around Ocho Rios.
Jamaica is one of the most popular destinations in the Caribbean and is the birthplace of the famous reggae singer Bob Marley and one of the fastest men on earth, Usain Bolt.
Of course, the scenery in Jamaica is also breathtaking, and the country is both vibrant and rich in culture. This villa is a beachfront home. It should be noted that beaches change their shape and size from day to day, week to week and month to month, mainly as a response to seasonal waves, currents and tides. Every effort has been made to depict the beach in front of this property, but temporary changes may occur.
Recommended staff gratuity at the end of your stay is 15% of the villa rental in low season and 10% in high season. Plan to pay your grocery and gratuity monies in cash: US dollars or Jamaican dollars.
