This beautiful contemporary vacation home has a footprint of over 4700 square feet, a wide terrace, four pretty pools, and incredible sea views. With north and east-facing aspects, this property allows you to revel in the pink and golden dawns that define this corner of paradise. The islands of Anguilla and Necker sparkle in the distance, and coupled with the sailing boats that move across the Eustatia sound, you can be sure lazy days on your terrace are never dull.

The villa, designed by the acclaimed Joseph Mosely Architects of Michigan, uses the local topography brilliantly. Facing seawards, this beautiful home is perfectly sheltered from the roadway giving that level of self-contained privacy that’s very much at the heart of a Caribbean castaway vacation. In addition, the altitude of the villa captures the gentle trade winds, so any time spent by your pools is comfortable and relaxing.

The large and gracious property has two master suites on the second floor. Two additional guest rooms are on the lower level, all sea-facing. The terraces have four separate pools, so your party has many different areas in which to find a quiet corner of solitude.

There's a movie theatre-style room and wet bar within Edge of Paradise, a high-end gourmet kitchen with interior design by Persia Design of NY and Toronto. Artworks and distinctive lighting complement the travertine floors and dark wood features. Antique French doors and custom cabinetry elevate the interiors to a high level of sophistication.

Note: Oil Nut Bay requires a seven-night minimum stay in this luxury family beach rental in the British Virgin Islands over the festive period, taking in either December 25th, Christmas Day, or December 31st, New Year's Eve.

Located on the uber-chic Virgin Gorda, one of the most beautiful islands in the Virgin Islands chain, this is the ideal destination for discerning travelers of all ages who want fun, adventure, relaxation, and a friendly vibe, all within a safe and self-contained island paradise.

Getting to Oil Nut Bay on Virgin Gorda can be achieved in several ways: North American guests can connect via St Thomas, San Juan, St Kitts, or St Maarten, connecting to Tortola's Terrance B Lettsome International Airport in the British Virgin Islands. There are flights from San Juan into Virgin Gorda and a seasonal service from St Thomas. Cape Air, Liat, Intercaribbean, and Seaborne Airlines are the most used airlines for flights into Tortola. Air Sunshine and Cape Air offer services to Virgin Gorda.

From Tortola, you can transfer to the Trellis Bay Ferry Dock to be ferried in 35 minutes to Oil Nut Bay.

European guests can connect via San Juan in Puerto Rico and then take a local airline to Virgin Gorda. A 20-minute taxi ride to Gun Creek Ferry and a ferry journey of 15 minutes to Oil Nut Bay.

Helicopter (8-seater) transfers can be arranged from Tortola Airport or San Juan's Luis Munoz Marin International Airport. The helicopter lands on Oil Nut Bay's helipad.
