Overview Of Costa Rica

Costa Rica is the jewel in the crown of Central America.  It is a small country of just 300 miles from top to toe and 175 miles at its widest point.

Costa Rica is an absolute oasis of peace and paradise located between Nicaragua to the north and Panama to the south.  It is flanked by two of the world’s great oceans. The Caribbean Sea on the eastern side and Pacific Ocean on the western side.

Without a doubt, the greatest appeal of Costa Rica is the incredible abundance of flora and fauna.

The country is chockablock full of rain forests, thundering waterfalls, rivers, volcanoes and remote beaches.  Costa Rica also has the most incredible selection of wildlife.  You are very likely to see Giant Sea Turtles on some of the remoter beaches and pods of dolphins frolicking in the waves.

On land, there are hundreds of species of colourful tropical birds, mischievous monkeys and even an odd jaguar or cougar cat.  The incredible diversity of the landscape in Costa Rica makes it the perfect destination for a family holiday and for people who love nature and adventure tourism.

Costa Rica also has some of the world’s best beaches making it a great destination for beachcombers too.

Costa Rica has made really clever decisions that have created protected marine and forest reserves that allow the natural wildlife to flourish.  As guests of this progressive country, you can engage with the wildlife in an intelligent and informed way – ensuring the very best experience for both man and beast.

For those who like the finer things in life, there is an incredible selection of villas.  Dotted along the very mild Pacific coastlines, you can establish yourself on the edge of a beautiful beach and enjoy the warm waters of the ocean on your doorstep. Costa Rica romantic vacations are very popular with honeymoon couples.

With lush forests surrounding your property, the sound of birdsong will be the musical backdrop for your luxurious vacation.
