DESCRIPTION
Welcome to Villa Coki, a charming and homely 5-bedroom villa located in the Puglia Region, the boot heel of Italy, contending to be your dream destination on the Italian peninsula.

Once a massima, or fortified farm in its past life, Villa Coki still exhibits some of the strong, impassive stone walls that it was constructed from. Combined with white-washed walls and the iconic trulli style rooves that are native only to the Apulian region, the history of the villa has been blended with more contemporary touches, and outfitted with modern conveniences and luxurious amenities to cater to all who reside within it for the duration of their stay.

This villa holds all the charm of an Italian abode, while the unique heritage that it boasts knows no comparison anywhere else. The expansive exterior space leaves nothing to be desired; a stone patio surrounds the villa, outfitted with comfortable seating to lounge amongst the greenery of mature olive trees, providing leafy shade under wide-spanning branches. Sun loungers are placed around the edge of the pool, optimally placed for basking in the sunshine. Should the hot sun become a little too much to bear, take a dip in the cool, shimmering waters of the swimming pool to the rear of the villa.

While the exterior is expansive and invites guests to spend their leisurely hours outdoors, the interior exudes a rustic aesthetic, exposed stonework and wooden beams adding to the charm; shelves inset into the walls help save floor space, and with a blend of contemporary and antique furnishings decorating each room, the style is decidedly eclectic. The rooms are cosy and make good use of the compact space that is available; the small, square sitting room contains two couches and a table and chairs and is a suitable spot to recline in front of the TV in the times between excursions, or if the weather takes a turn.

The kitchen has direct access to the stone patio outside, which make the prospect of dinner al fresco irresistible. The services of a private chef with a broad knowledge of Italian cuisine and using local produce will guarantee a taste sensation for the guests of the villa; waiting for the food to reach the table is the only difficult part. The kitchen is fully equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, a long and spacious room with arched stone ceilings and wide wooden beams stretching across overhead. The kitchen also doubles as a dining area for when outdoor dining is hampered by inclement weather.

The bedrooms are modest and snug, containing only the essentials in order to ensure a complete night’s rest. Lying beneath the domed rooves and stone archways of the Trulli's structure, luxurious beds await the comfort and pleasure of guests, with soft linens and plush pillows on each. The master suite is afforded an en-suite bathroom with a double sink vanity area and bathtub, while the remaining four have en-suites equipped with showers.

GOOD TO KNOW
• Security Deposit: €750 held at the agency
• The Italian government might require the payment of a Visitor’s Tax (approximately €1.50 – €5.00 per person, per day, depending on the location) and may be applied for the first seven days in the destination. This tax is payable locally, in Euro cash.
• Check-in: between 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm – Check-out: before/by 10:00 am
• All the extra services must be paid locally prior to departure unless otherwise agreed.
