Welcome to Cigno, an exceptional 13-bedroom estate combining two spectacular villas located directly on the shore of the magnificent Italian escape of Lake Como. Offering breathtaking views, private water access, and lush garden and woods, both Villa Maria and Villa Serena are some of the most exceptional luxury villas in Lake Como. They can be rented separately or as a whole under the name of Cigno estate, ideal for a large group of friends or family traveling the glorious Italian countryside.

A quarter-mile winding road, guarded by a quaint traditional gatehouse, leads down to the seven-acre manicured estate. The villas enjoy uninterrupted vistas of the lake's sparkling blue waters and surrounding foothills. The two residences are divided by a historic harbor. The expansive outdoor seating areas are perfect for a romantic alfresco meal and feature exquisite terracotta statues on the terrace, adding to the sense of splendor throughout the property. Each villa enjoys its own heated swimming pool, complete with poolside loungers, why you can lay out in the afternoon working on your Mediterranean suntan. From the secluded estate, you can easily access the nearest village through a small private gate and wander through the charming, cobbled streets, the picturesque square on the lakeside or explore the 17th-century church and town garden with a beautiful pergola.

On the courtyard level of the Maria villa, the magnificent entrance hall is decorated with fresco paintings and is exquisitely furnished with fine Italian linens and tasteful antiques from the owner's private collection. Both properties feature impressive grand pianos in the grand central living rooms. These sublime seating areas offer an incredible space for those who love entertaining. Wide glass windows flood the ground floor with light, and French doors that open directly out onto the terrace allow you and your guests to flow seamlessly from the outdoors in so that you can make the most of the glorious Lombardy climate. For the nights you don’t feel like venturing out to one of the many fantastic local restaurants and bars, you can organize a private chef to prepare some of the best food in Italy for you to enjoy with the breathtaking vista of the sun setting over Lake Como's crystal clear water.

Villa Maria – 7 bedrooms and 7 baths:
First Floor: 2 lake-view queen bedrooms each with en suite bathroom. 1 courtyard-view queen bedroom with en suite bathroom.
Second Floor: 2 lake-view king bedrooms each with en suite bathroom. 1 king bedroom and 1 queen bedroom each with en suite bathroom with shower.

Villa Serena – 6 bedrooms and 6 baths:
First Floor : 2 lake-view queen bedrooms each with en suite bathroom. 1 courtyard-view king bedroom with private bathroom
Second Floor : 2 lake-view king bedrooms each with en suite bathroom. 1 king bedroom with private bathroom

The locality of Lake Como has so much to offer for active travelers and glamourous jet setters alike. Several challenging trails wind throughout the surrounding hills, from which you can take in panoramic scenery below. Thrill-seekers can even try their hand at one of the many memorable things to do in Lake Como including paragliding from the peak of the nearby Mount Nuvolone.
