The furnishings and décor throughout the property are of a neoclassical style with dark wood, natural stone, earthy tones, plush leather and antique furnishings. The living areas offer plenty of natural light with high vaulted ceilings and large windows. Chateau Mirador is a genuine property of understated style and elegance.
The drive itself up to the property is truly spectacular and ends through an archway which guides you into an impressive, heated courtyard. On entering the house, the Great Room welcomes you with splendid, exposed timber beams and 2 gas fireplaces with natural stone hearths, one at either side of the room. This area is open plan, combining living space and dining area. This sprawling area has lots of seating with leather couches and armchairs situated around one of the fireplaces and an elegant dining table with seating for 8 people on the opposite side of the room adjacent to the second fireplace. There is also a cosy sitting area and beautiful library past the Great Room, which leads to one of the king bedrooms. For those who need to keep in touch with work, the home office complete with minibar is also situated on this floor.
The nearby gourmet kitchen boasts a dining table in front of yet another fireplace with seating for seven and a spacious counter with additional seating for 3 guests. The luxurious kitchen features unique equipment such as a Viking range and a warming drawer, oversized counter tops and dual sinks. As with most areas of this magnificent property, mountain views are never far from sight.
Two bedrooms are located on the main level including the Master Bedroom featuring a foyer, writing desk, gas fireplace, TV with DVD player and stereo sound system. The en suite bathroom boasts a Jacuzzi tub where you can admire spectacular views from the jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom on this level is a king bedroom with a crib, TV, spacious walk-in closet and en suite bathroom. A curved staircase leads up from the main level to another queen bedroom suite with compact kitchen, sitting area, fitness corner with equipment and an en suite bathroom with large shower. The remaining four bedrooms are all located on the lower level. One is a junior suite with king bed, TV, walk-in closet and private patio. The en suite bathroom is fitted with jacuzzi tub and shower. There is also a king bedroom with walk-in closet, TV and en suite bathroom with combined shower and tub. A queen bedroom is equipped with TV, walk-in closet and en suite bathroom with shower and tub. The final bedroom offers a twin day bed with trundle, walk-in closet and en suite bathroom with spacious walk-in shower.
A family/games room also occupies the lower level of the property and features a game table with seating for 6, a full bar, lots of seating, a flat screen TV and fireplace. An impressive wine cellar also occupies this level.

Beaver Creek, Colorado, is a popular luxury skiing destination with the added attraction of having the feel of a charming, intimate mountain village. The village itself has lots to offer including fabulous restaurants, great shopping opportunities and distinguished art galleries.
The slopes at Beaver Creek are unequalled for all levels of skiing - for first-timers learning to balance or for experienced winter sports fanatics looking for challenging terrains. For beginners the resort has a wonderful ski school for all ages of skiers and snow boarders. For expert skiers, knowledgeable mountain guides are available to show you the steeper terrain. Nearby Grouse Mountain is an entire mountain dedicated to black diamond and double black diamond runs.
