Welcome to Chalet Les Ecureuils, a luxurious, exclusive chalet located in its own tranquil surroundings with a private garden overlooking Zermatt. The chalet offers uninterrupted views of the Matterhorn throughout and is often referred to as Zermatt’s best kept secret.

The chalet, built in 1964 but uniquely renovated over the past five years, is just a five minute walk to the main Klein Matterhorn departure station and to the village centre. It can be accessed by using its own telecabin or by using the well-maintained footpath through a native wooded area.

As you disembark the Electro Taxi at the Chalet you will be greeted by a champagne reception. On arrival to the Chalet, you can look out to the stunning mountain views and inhale the crisp air, to feel instantly refreshed after your travel.

Every detail of the chalet has been carefully planned to retain its characteristic charm and traditional feel so you can experience this authentic alpine paradise and its very best. A clever ancient art technique known as feng-shui invites the natural environment and light into the chalet.

Chalet Les Ecureuils is available fully catered by a professional chef during the winter months, or self catered if you prefer. Breakfast and afternoon tea are prepared and served to you before and after a busy day of skiing. Following some post-ski relaxation in the tropicarium sauna, you can enjoy pre-dinner drinks, canapés, a four-course gourmet dinner and top class wine.

After a delicious dinner you can unwind in the spacious lounge by the large woo-burning fireplace which overlooks the terrace and garden with its breathtaking views of the Matterhorn. The lounge is equipped with plasma TV, DVD, CD/Radio and has wireless internet.

The dining area is separated from the lounge by glass doors. It has a long table that seats 12 and features views of the surrounding mountains and village of Zermatt. The contemporary kitchen adjoins the dining area.

This stunning chalet consists of five double bedrooms, three of which are en suite, an extra bathroom, and a separate WC. Massage and reflexology can be arranged in the Chalet on request.

In the relaxation area of the Chalet there is a large sauna, which is perfect therapy after a day of activity in the mountains. There is also a shower for your convenience. Massage, physiotherapy and reflexology can be arranged on request.
