Welcome to Chalet Heidi, one of Zermatt’s most popular Alpine Chalets. This stunning three bedroom wooden Chalet is located in the heart of Zermatt between the church and the school, very close to the main shopping street in the village. This Chalet has south facing balconies that capture the breathtaking scenic views of the Matterhorn, Zermatt Village and the surrounding mountains.

Chalet Heidi is a charming Swiss Chalet situated in an ideal location in Zermatt village. The uninterrupted views of Zermatt town below and the Matterhorn at the end of the valley are spectacular from the balcony.

This stunning chalet has recently been refurbished and provides guests with all modern conveniences. When entering Chalet Heidi the words luxury, traditional and cosiness spring to mind. Chalet Heidi is surrounded by sunbathed wooden balconies on all sides enabling guest to admire the breath-taking views of Zermatt and the mountains behind.


The majority of this property is comprised of beautiful wood panelling with some local granite walls. The first floor has a traditional antique stone fire-stove, wooden ceiling beams with spotlights, a unique dining table consisting of a traditional harrow under a glass top, a generously sized new and fully equipped connecting kitchen. The open-plan living and kitchen area leads onto a large balcony overlooking the beautiful town of Zermatt.

There are three quaint bedrooms and three very modern bathrooms. Bedroom 1 (the largest) has a standard double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. Bedroom 2 can be configured either as a double or as two singles. Its bathroom is next door, with shower and toilet. Bedroom 3 has a double bed and a large en-suite bathroom with corner-bath, rainfall shower and toilet. You should be aware that these two bedrooms are small; however their interior design is charming, giving one the feeling of snuggling up in a cosy mountain cabin.


Chalet Heidi sleeps 6 although it is also ideal for smaller groups. Like our other luxury chalets near the centre of the Zermatt village, such as theHeinz Julen Loft and Heinz Julen Penthousethe chalet includes a number of modern comforts such as a large LCD flat screen TV with DVD and cable, free wireless broadband internet access and all usual modern kitchen appliances.
