Casa Taman - North Creek Estate

Description

Welcome to Casa Taman, a magnificent 4-bedroom luxury villa situated on the beach of Santa Teresa in Costa Rica. This stunning property is brand new and offers 4,300 square feet (403m2) of living quarters, it is a five-star luxury villa situated in a private 1.6-acre (6500m2) property, with direct access to the beautiful beach. Casa stands for “home” in Spanish and Taman for “garden” in Indonesian and that lush, jungle-like, tropical feeling is exactly what you get while being only 100 meters away from the white sandy beach and the sparkling blue ocean.

Casa Taman is located on the northern, most exclusive part of Santa Teresa beach and sits right next to its sister property, Casa Lanui. Together they conform the North Creek Estate, one of the most luxurious real estate projects in the area. While on its own, Casa Taman will comfortably accommodate up to 10 people in its 4 bedrooms, combined with Casa Lanui, they can accommodate up to 28. This is the perfect solution for a multi-generational family making the trip of a lifetime, or a group of families and friends who have not had the chance to be all together in a long time.

Casa Taman features 3 master bedrooms with king-sized beds, looking out onto the swimming pool area and the garden with en-suite full bathrooms and ample closet and desk areas. The fourth bedroom is furnished with two bunk beds, sleeping 4 people in total and also offers a full en-suite outdoor enclosed bathroom, a closet and a desk area.

The heart of Casa Taman is its living and social rooms, all housed in one ample, high-ceilinged, open space which flows easily towards the outdoor terrace and swimming pool. The inside living quarters include a fully equipped modern kitchen and bar seating at the island, so that the designated chef of the group can participate in all things fun while working away at the stove. The dining area includes a 10-foot long dining table that will comfortably sit up to 10 guests. During sports nights, you and your friends can relax sitting on the couches of the big comfortable lounge area in front of a 60” television, sipping on your favorite drinks while cheering for your respective teams, while those not interested, can sit on the patio and enjoy the views towards the pool and the jungle.

A lovely pool with shallow hang out built-in props, sits right across the living room space, and is surrounded by terraces furnished with several lounge chairs to work your tan, chat with friends, read a book or take a nap. Beyond, hammocks hanging under the shade of the garden trees, are ready to make the relaxation mode set even deeper.

A private path along a lovely creek leads you from the house to the beach. The beach in front of the North Creek Estate is absolutely stunning with a long stretch of white sand that goes on forever. Santa Teresa beach is surfers’ paradise, as the consistent waves of the ocean’s pristine waters provide the perfect setup for such a sport. No better place to relax and have some fun while watching surfers catch the next big one!

Staying at Casa Taman is a luxury experience, one that ensures relaxation and connecting back with nature and loved ones, and to make sure you have a stress-free stay, we provide daily housekeeping and our Property Manager will be available to address any issues that may arise during your stay.

Santa Teresa, a string of beaches on the southern tip of Costa Rica’s northwestern peninsula, has an edge-of-the-world vibe that still feels remote and inspires dreams of relocation. Driving down the dusty dirt road that connects the area’s four beaches — Playa Carmen, Playa Hermosa, Santa Teresa and Mal Pais —you will wonder what your life would be like in a town that experiences almost year-round sunshine (punctuated by the occasional biblical rainstorm, sure) and consistent 80-degree temperatures. This road that runs parallel to the beach has many cute cafés, restaurants, some galleries and the odd fashion boutique dotted among the surf shops.

Once a sleepy fishing village, Santa Teresa is now an increasingly luxurious surfer’s paradise filled with people who have made this particular fantasy their reality — and the occasional detox-seeking celebrity who likes living it for a week at a time. In addition to native Costa Ricans, or “Ticos,” there are American chefs, Australian surf instructors, French cafe owners and Argentine hoteliers.

An outer ripple of Costa Rica’s countrywide eco-tourism boom, Santa Teresa’s international community blossomed in the 2000s as foreign adventure-seekers discovered its confluence of natural attractions: white-sand beaches, reliable, long-breaking waves and innumerable species of wildlife. And while New Age hippies still populate the town’s scores of yoga studios, Santa Teresa is now evolving to cater to the growing number of comfort-loving families who have discovered its amazing beaches and lay back charms, including its proximity to the pristine 3,000-acre Cabo Blanco nature reserve, five miles to the south, and an increasing array of excellent small hotels, villas and restaurants.

Secluded paradise
Secluded paradise

We went to Costa Rica with a mix of "mine, yours and ours" and it was the perfect piece of paradise we needed to come all together and enjoy some time with no schedules. Beautiful newly built house, next to the beach and a lovely outdoors area to hide from the burning sun under the trees. Amazing time, would definitely recommend it.
