Welcome to Casa Leopardo, a newly redeveloped, 5-bedroom, modern Chalet situated in the natural environment of Maloja and the nearby exclusive alpine resort St. Moritz. The property was originally designed by the famous Swiss architect Ernst E. Anderegg but has since been redeveloped and now boasts 300 sq. meters of indoor space. The chalet enjoys beautiful mountain views of the Swiss Alps and as it is also located on a 4000 sq. meters of forest land. The property and area are serene and calm, making it the perfect place to escape from the rest of the world and relax in privacy and peace.

The luxurious chalet is decorated in modern furnishings and has three levels in the main house with four double bedrooms and four bathrooms. There is also an additional apartment with one double bed, one bathroom and a living room. The two spaces can be joined together to make one large property, sleeping up to 14 guests.

The main floor opens onto a spacious and welcoming entrance fitted with a wardrobe, ideal for ski gear. The large kitchen opens up onto the right and has all the facilities and amenities you will need for cooking a feast for you and your friends and family. There is also a dining area in this space for you to sit back and enjoy the cuisine you’ve created. On the left side of the ground floor are two bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms, one of these being the master bedroom and bathroom.

There is also a laundry room and a technical room on the left side of the ground floor, as well as a small terrace, perfect for taking in the views of the mountains and the Swiss Alps.

The separate apartment is directly connected to the house but also has a separate entrance, so it is very private if you wish it to be. Ideal for a couple, teenagers or a family with small children if they wish. There is also a small living room which can be converted into a second bedroom, a small dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a main bedroom and bathroom in this apartment.

On the first floor of the property a large dining area, a spacious living area and a cosy couch area, perfect for relaxing after a long day of skiing. This area also includes floor to ceiling windows providing stunning views of the surrounding area. this also opens up onto a large sunny terrace, a lovely place to soak up some sun in the summer. There is an extra bathroom on this floor also.

Take the stairs to the second floor where you will find a lovely private area, perfect for parents of the family or another couple. There is another master bedroom on this floor as well as a master bathroom. The master bedroom has many large windows and a balcony, making space bright, open and airy. It also provides great views of the surrounding nature and beauty of the region. This space also includes a walk-in closet and a small library, a perfect place to submerge yourself in a good book or just have a light read after an exhausting day on the slopes.

This chalet is wonderfully decorated with modern furnishings but still maintaining that rustic ski cabin vibe. the colour palette is mainly neutral, but splashes of colour make the property more vibrant and charismatic. The unique traditional style of the surrounding region has also been maintained in this chalet and combined with an elegant and modern flare.

Alpine skiing is possible in the Maloja ski area (walking distance), also in neighbouring Corvatsch- Furtschellas ski area with around 120 km of slopes or in Corviglia ski area in St. Moritz, which can be reached in about 15 minutes by car.

The mountain village Maloja is located on Lake Sils, it is the largest and most stunning of the Upper Engadine lakes. From the chalet, the lake and the beautiful promenade can be reached in a walking distance of just about 2 minutes. The hike around Lake Sils is considered one of the most beautiful in Switzerland.

The Engadine provides an unrivalled variety of top-class winter sports. Skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, cross-country skiing, snowshoe treks, snowkiting, Ice Climbing, Ice skating – anything and everything is possible. For winter sports fanatics there are 88 pistes with a state-of-the-art infrastructure in the surrounding region.

Casa Leopardo is the most wonderful place to enjoy an extravagant stay in the Swiss Alps. It is a perfect combination of luxury and convenience as it is so close to all that Engadine has to offer.
