Welcome to Casa Caiman, a 5-bedroom villa situated along Costa Rica’s Gold Coast, famous for its immaculate beaches and vast diversity in wildlife, in the beautiful Peninsula Papagayo on the western verge of Costa Rica.

A single-level villa sitting on the crest of a hill and surrounded by a copse of dense vegetation to shroud it from the outside world, Casa Caiman overlooks Culebra Bay to the east, and to the west, the Gulf of Papagayo and the vastness of the Pacific Ocean beyond.

Guests looking to soak up sun rays need to look no further than the large wooden terrace to the rear of the Casa, where sun loungers are in abundance next to the infinity edge swimming pool; a shallow pool shelf accommodates the best of both worlds, lying in the cool and shallow waters while basking in the heat. A hot tub sits adjacent to the pool, the bubbling waters sure to soothe and relax to the backdrop of some stunning scenery, and with exterior lighting installed in both the shaded terrace and pools, a magical ambiance can be felt in the quiet of the evenings, as the sun sinks below the horizon.

Casa Caiman is 11,000 square feet in size, including the exterior space; the single-level villa belies soaring ceilings within, the great room boasting a staggering 27ft in height; beautiful marble flooring and sandstone walls absorb the heat, with centrally controlled air conditioning installed, providing a cool and pleasant climate indoors for guests needing a reprieve from the sun. A kitchen, dining room, and lounge area fill the expansive great room, with floor-to-ceiling windows and terrace doors that open wide and expand the space to accommodate outdoor living. Several large and plush couches sit at the center of the great room, a low coffee table sitting between them and providing a speakeasy atmosphere for guests to relax into a free-flowing conversation, further enhanced by the bar sitting close by.

A fully equipped kitchen with industry-standard, state-of-the-art appliances is ready to aid in the preparation of mouth-watering meals. The use of local produce, combined with the services of a professional chef and a rich array of recipes to choose from, will ensure the only difficult part is waiting to for the richly flavored food to furnish the table. An exquisitely crafted dining table sits adjacent to the lounge area, with seating for eight overlooking the picturesque vistas just beyond the glass; should the desire to take dinner outside arise, the terrace is just a few steps away through the sliding patio doors, and underneath the veranda. A barbeque and prep area are also located here, ready to cater to a more casual cookout.

The media room sits separately from the great room towards the front of the villa, equipped with a foosball table and card table, and a widescreen TV with a Playstation 4 console, perfect for engaging in downtime in exploring Costa Rica.

The bedrooms are luxury defined; palatial king-size beds and bedding furnish each room, guaranteeing restful and serene sleep to all guests. Clean, uncluttered rooms are thoughtfully designed, seeking to instill calm in those who enter. Every room is equipped with an en-suite bathroom, with walk-in showers, and several with standalone bathtubs to wash and soothe the body from a long, hectic day. Located on the secluded and pristine Papagayo Peninsula on the western coast of Costa Rica, Casa Caiman enjoys panoramic views from all areas of the house; the Pacific Ocean can be viewed from almost any area in the property, inside and out, framed by vibrant green trees.
An environmentally friendly resort with 70% preservation, the lush forests and vegetation that covers a vast portion of the peninsula hosts several wildlife 0000reserves to visit and enjoy, with a wide variety of flora and fauna to marvel at.
Water sports and activities are in plentiful supply over the island, most notably at the Papagayo Marina, where you can find a whole host of things to do and try, including swimming, sailing, surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, snorkeling, scuba-diving, kayaking, and fishing, as well as private chartering of boats and yachts to tour the coast and see from afar the beauty of the Costa Rican landscape.
Prieta Beach Club (1.4km) is just a few minutes away either by car or on foot; there, aside from facilities such as pools, spa, and well-equipped gym, you’ll find the fabulous Olas Restaurant, with breathtaking sunsets to accompany the delicious food served there. Afterward, a stroll on the silken sands of the private beach that Prieta presides over will surely end the day on a high.
