Villa Talamo is a truly beautiful home offering some of the most spectacular views from the comfort of your outdoor lounge area. Here you can relax and soak up the warm Mediterranean sun and read your favorite book.

Tucked away in a magical corner of Southern Tuscany, Villa Talamo is nestled among four hectares of wild olive trees, palm trees, and woodlands that surround the villa. This elegant 18th-century three-story sea-front, the fully staffed property is located sixteen miles south of Grosseto, an ideal area that combines beautiful unspoiled beaches and the fancy Monte Argentario, one of Italy’s lesser-known tourist spots and what Condé Nast Traveler calls “a wilder version of the Côte d’Azur”.

From here, some amazing points of interest, such as Siena, Montalcino, the harbor of Punta Ala, and the unspoiled Val D’Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site, are within easy reach. The Natural Uccellina Park and the Natural WWF reserve of the lagoon of Orbetello are only a 20-minute drive away.

This luxury villa overlooks the sea, and it has recently undergone an attentive restyling to become one of the largest villas to rent in the area, the ideal property for large groups to experience unspoiled nature on the Tuscan coast.

During the summer months, guests can rent a boat/yacht to visit the coast of Argentario and the Islands of Giglio and Giannutri. Since this property is waterfront guests can enjoy a thermal breeze ideal for relaxing in the shade throughout the day. The location of the property is wonderful and the nearest major city is Grosseto which is 25 minutes’ drive.

At Exceptional Villas, we offer a complimentary concierge service before your arrival. While at the villa the team can also arrange all kinds of services, from massage & personal trainer to private catering from local or gourmet restaurants, and experiences around Tuscany, including wine tastings that can be arranged directly in the villa too. The villa also has some hand-picked Italian wines in all price ranges due to our collaboration with the most renowned Tuscan producers and wine shops.

1st floor:
Bedrooms 1 and 2: Master Family Apartment that includes a kitchenette with fridge, its private living room overlooking the main terrace, olive and palm trees, and the Bay of Talamone with two en-suite bedrooms. The Master King bedroom with sea view, an en-suite bathroom with a vintage bathtub, a walk-in shower, and two separate sinks, and a King bedroom with a garden view and an en-suite bathroom with a recently renovated walk-in shower, suitable for people with limited mobility.

All bedrooms and connecting rooms have A/C, heating, interior and exterior blinds, and all rooms and bathrooms have mosquito nets on the windows although due to daily breeze and
regular treatments on the property both mosquitos and other insects are very limited.

All beds are king-sized 180cm x 200cm, and one bedroom has the option to have separated single beds.

2 cots/cribs are available, and 2 barriers for beds for children sleeping in normal beds are available at the property, other than 1 high chair.

LIVING SPACES:
Ground floor:
The mansion’s exterior blends perfectly with the sophisticated traditional interior décor.

The social spaces on this floor are airy and inviting, uniquely designed, and decorated with elegant furnishing and local art, to soothe the senses. The stylish sitting room boasts a large fireplace – typical Tuscan architectural detail – next to a mix of old and new country furniture. The generous TV room and the separate dining room with a large table, depict a plush yet unfussy setting. All the rooms have direct access to the garden. A fully equipped kitchen, a laundry room, and a guest bathroom complete the floor.

OUTDOOR FEATURES:
Luxuriant trees adorn the verdant garden surrounding the property, ensuring a great deal of privacy. The area in front of the villa is perfectly shaded for delicious al fresco dining experiences. Here, and in other several nooks on the property, the guests can enjoy plush sitting furniture for relaxing moments. The panoramic private swimming pool, overlooking the sea, is framed by a soft lawn, fully furnished with shades and lounges to enjoy the long Tuscan summer days. Also, by the pool, a convenient bar to serve refreshments and snacks if your appetite or thirst strikes. A path among the vegetation leads to a pebble beach below.

A/C units, heating, unlimited Wi-Fi indoor and outdoor; sat smart TV, i-pod dock, fireplace, dishwasher; washing machine, hairdryers, private fenced swimming pool (18m, x 4m, depth: 1.8m – 1.2m) heated up to 86F degrees (for an extra fee), pool bar, window screens, BBQ, direct access to the beach, ample private parking.

This property is especially suited for family reunions and special celebrations. The villa comes fully staffed with attentive personnel, dedicated to ensuring every experience is catered to the guests’ preferences during the stay. A local villa concierge and property manager are available during business hours, yet total privacy and discretion are guaranteed. The villa enjoys spectacular sunsets and breathtaking views of Monte Argentario, the Giglio and Montecristo islands: there is no place like this paradise!

INCLUDED WITH RATE:

NOT INCLUDED WITH RATE:
• All staff has to be granted a day off per week, although the service for guests is always guaranteed either by a replacement of the cleaning or serving staff or by the Sous-chef for meals. Extra hours can be arranged, subject to availability, with prior notice, at a price of 40€ per hour, per staff member payable directly by the client to the staff member.

• Security Deposit: € 5.000 for every week of stay, up to a maximum € 10.000 to be held at the agency

Highlights of the area include the unspoiled fishing village of Castiglione della Pescaia, endless stretches of dreamy sandy beaches, and the medieval cobble-stoned village of Massa Marittima – lately becoming more and more popular and home to many international artists and socialites. Also worth a visit is the magical and mysterious city of Volterra, with its roots in three thousand years of history. We also strongly recommend visits to the towns of Populonia and Baratti, Suvereto, Campiglia Marittima, Castagneto Carducci, Bolgheri, and the chic harbor of Punta Ala.
