The contemporary fittings and a blend of pastel and earthy tones give this residence a very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.
The fully equipped kitchen located behind the main seating area features all the required appliances, as well as a cascading island with high stool seating for 4, an impressive electric Range and a refrigerator with ice-machine. The formal dining space with seating for 6 at the table is nestled into a semi-private area beside large panoramic windows allowing for super views while dining.
Capitol Peak Lodge 3310 can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests, making it a perfect choice for your small group of family or friends who wish to enjoy a wonderful Winter getaway. Both bedrooms are elegantly furnished and decorated to the highest standards, guaranteeing comfortable sleep. One bedroom offers a king size bed the other has a queen. An additional queen size sleeper sofa is also available.
The property has a wrap round balcony from where guests may enjoy the fresh mountain air and stunning views of the Independence Pass whilst watching the comings and goings of the village Plaza below.
Guests staying at Capitol Peak Lodge 3310 can avail of a private ski locker and complimentary parking for one vehicle in the underground car park at the property. Area description
Aspen Snowmass winter resort is located in Pitkin County, Western Colorado, conveniently only 6 miles from the Pitkin County Airport. This much revered resort comprises four excellent skiing & snowboarding areas on four mountains, namely, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk and Snowmass.
Aspen Snowmass has long been known as a mecca for skiers of all ages and abilities. Cruisers, steeps, glades, terrain parks and half pipes provide an unparalleled winter playground. One of the main attractions for serious skiers is the fact that the slopes never feel crowded, with an average of only two people per acre. The longest trail is over 5 miles long and you could spend your entire trip skiing at Aspen Snowmass without covering the same trails twice, such is the vast terrain.
Access to all four mountains is conveniently included in a single lift ticket which can be purchased for single or multi-days.
One must also remember that mountains are equally beautiful in the summer, spring and fall and you will find an abundance of thrilling adventures waiting to be explored. Mountain bike trails, hiking trails, ziplining at the Lost Forest and paintballing are but a few of the great activities available to you. For the less adventurous, a stroll through wildflower meadows in the clear mountain air is truly being at one with mother nature.
