Buttonwood Reef is located within the private compound of Hermosa Cove Resort on Jamaica’s North Coast. The property can comfortably accommodate up to 18 guests and is therefore perfect for large groups of family or friends searching for privacy, relaxation, and fun whilst experiencing the best in Jamaican hospitality.

Buttonwood Reef is one of the finest examples of modern Caribbean architecture. Inside, the villa is a showcase of contemporary interior design emphasizing the height and space of the living areas and creating an atmosphere that is elegant, sophisticated, and in harmony with the surrounding land and seascape. As you approach the majestic entrance door to the main building, you will immediately be drawn to the sight of the Caribbean Sea directly in front of you. Fresh, clean lines; bright, wide-open spaces and touches of luxury are all Jamaica’s about you as soon as you enter this magnificent home. The craftsmanship of some of the finest artists and potters is on display throughout the house. The sea's natural turquoise colour is always within sight, blending perfectly with the pastel shades decorating the interior. The home itself is a glorious work of art enveloped by nature, both complimenting and at ease with each other.

This spectacular 2-level villa is spread over 7,000 square feet. The open-plan living area on the sunken ground floor is where you can impressively entertain your guests and offers an infinite panorama of the ocean, together with the sound of surf lapping against the shore and a constant gentle sea breeze flowing in through the glass sliding doors. This grand room consists of extravagant living and dining spaces together with a separate air-conditioned gaming area featuring a pool table, 85’ flat-screen TV and oversized plush and comfy couches. The dining space boasts a unique and very artistic dining table to seat 18 guests, made from one large piece of Tamarind. 2 of the 6 opulent en suite bedrooms are also located on this ground floor and both have verandas overlooking the ocean, 1 has a king bed, and the other has 2 full-size beds. The commercial-styled kitchen is where your private cook will rustle up mouth-watering Jamaican speciality dishes to be served up by your butler, either inside or outdoors.

An impressive sweeping staircase leads upstairs to four en suite king bedrooms, all with splendorous ocean views. The impressive sun deck, furnished with double reclining sun loungers, provides an idyllic area to relax in the Jamaica sunshine and gaze out over the magnificent Caribbean ocean.

Buttonwood Reef puts an emphasis on the great outdoors and outside living with an abundance of options from where to enjoy the wonderful sunshine, sea air and cooling breezes. To the east of the grand villa, a shaded dining terrace with barbeque is perfect for Al Fresco dining. On a lower terrace, closer to the water's edge, you can enjoy total relaxation on conveniently placed sun loungers. There are many other private and peaceful areas around the property, for those wishing for solitude and even a 3-pin putting green area for some gentle entertainment. The infinity pool on the front terrace has an adjacent hot tub for up to 14 people. Guests staying in Sea Biscuit Cottage can enjoy the 16’ x 8’ plunge pool situated in the garden.

The beautiful 3-bedroom Sea Biscuit Cottage can be accessed by its own private entrance or by way of a path along the seaside. Sitting in a private garden, it is in close enough proximity to the main villa to allow guests to feel part of what is going on and secluded enough to give peaceful privacy when necessary. This 2-level building conveniently has a sitting area and a small kitchen with 2 king size en suite bedrooms on the ground floor and a master king en suite on the upper floor. Two covered gazebos and a small lawn surround the cottage.
