A secluded and private space by virtue of the enclosing wall, the property is a perfect example of the local architecture. The internal layout of the property is typical of its time, with a symmetrical distribution of rooms surrounding a central salon as well as a noble floor on the upper level.

You and your guests will be spellbound by the attractions and limitless history of the town of Lucca. Take a wander or rent a bicycle along the city's ancient walls, then down through its narrow streets, stopping to admire the charming churches, famous monuments and the Guingi Tower, famed for having trees planted on top of it. The beautiful church of Saint Michele is well worth a visit, and while you are there, why not sit down and enjoy a cappuccino in Saint Michele square and watch the locals leisurely go about their day. Shopping along Via Fillungo should also not be missed.

Heading north from Lucca, the spectacular Garfagnana Valley is certainly worth the drive to take in the miles of unspoiled rolling mountains and lush green hills. On the way, be sure to visit the famous "Devil's Bridge", a spot that many legends say was once visited by the Devil himself. Each autumn, it plays host to a huge Halloween celebration.

To the south, the city of Pisa, rich in history and architecture and its famous Leaning Tower awaits.
