Apartment Borsato is based on the third floor of the property (4th American floor) and is accessible via the stairs of the elevator. The apartment includes shared access to the open terrace on this floor and offers alfresco dining, outdoor seating and endless views over the City and turquoise waters. The property is perched at the base of Venice’s Grand Canal which sits opposite the Santa Maria Della Salute basilica and the Punta della Dogana museum. You can easily explore these popular sites, holding a plethora of fine art. The apartment is a stone’s throw of the glorious Piazza San Marco and also near one of the sugar-fine beaches of Venice.

The origins of this captivating property date back to the 12th century. The Barozzi family built the Ca’Barozzi into a crenelated building with a porch, an open gallery and two large square towers. The medieval structure was remodeled in the 17th century into a Renaissance palazzo by architect Bartolomeo Manopola. In the early 19th century the Treves family took over the property and redesigned the interiors to their own tastes. They hired Giuseppe Borsato, an Italian painter and decorated the interiors with paintings and fine arts. Since then the Palazzo Ca’nova as a whole, including your Borsato apartment, has been remodeled and designed to reflect the modern and classic style of Venice. The pure interior layout is laced with comfort and beauty while holding the views of Venice at its core.

Borsato has a total of two bedrooms. Each of the bedrooms enjoys access to a private en-suite bathroom. The bathrooms include bath soaps, shampoo, shower gel, and body lotion as well as fitted with hairdryers. The bedrooms are supplied with crisp Italian linens and fresh towels. The beds indulge in Mattress' by Simmons with two pillows per person - one feather and one non-allergenic.
